Ohniyou 40” Ceiling Fans with Lights and Remote, Small Outdoor Ceiling Fans with Light for Patio, Modern Ceiling Fan Light for Bedroom Porch(White)

I wanted to replace my dated ceiling fan in the sun room with something that was simple, clean, and had a good remote. This fan was extremely inexpensive compared to others, so I gave it a shot. It works quite well, gives off enough light, is quiet, and the remote is very responsive.The remote is bulkier than other ceiling fan remotes I have used in the past, but it makes up for it with how well it works! No mispressed buttons, gives a satisfying "click" when you adjust the light or fan, and it just plain works. Much better than more expensive fan remotes.

These fans (purchased 2) are not very bright. The lights started to flicker after a month. Light color changes every time they are turned on. They were for a home improvement project that ran behind schedule so it's too late to return. In the process of replacing them and going to just cut our losses. Would not recommend.******UPDATE******After leaving this review I was contacted by the seller and was offered a full refund! They in fact gave me full refund on both fans. That was a very nice thing for them to do and it was totally unexpected. They have very good customer service and they back up their products . Thank you!

**Updated review** The customer service has been great since I made my initial review. They've reached out and are sending a replacement part for my model that may be causing the issue. Very pleased with this company!The light will come on at random if I turn it off with the remote. I have to turn the wall switch off to prevent this, which of course means it cannot be controlled by the remote and completely defeats the purpose of having a remote controlled fan. It was an easy install, and the overall product is nice, but this glitch with the overhead light coming on unexpectedly just negates the good qualities.

I have now added third one of these fans across our 24'x6' front porch here in East Texas and have had NO issues with the blades wilting or bowing due to the heat or humidity.. They draw very little power off the one circuit so no issues with overloading that breaker even on high speed with the LED lights on..

We ordered this fan towards the end of November 2023. My husband got it installed the beginning of December. The fan works really well. We put it in our bedroom because I am always hot. I need the fan on when I sleep but not the light. Well, the light won't stay off. I shut it off with the remote, and a little while later the fan will beep and the light turns on, by itself, with no one touching the remote or any switches. I contacted the company on December 6th and was told it was a faulty relay and that they would send me a new relay and remote to fix the issue. We had to unplug the light part of the fan because it kept turning on while we were trying to sleep. It is now January 1, 2024, and there has been no resolution to the issue. I still have no light in my bedroom. I wouldn't recommend this to others.Edit=We received the replacement part in the mail a couple days after I wrote this review. My husband got it taken care of and now there is no issue with the light turning on by itself. The fan works very well and is fairly quiet. As others have stated though, you have to use the remote to turn the light on and off to change the type of light from a harsh light to a softer tone. But that is just a minor issue. Overall, the fan works well.

I loved this fan when it was first installed, looks wise it's one of the better ones. Function wise it has malfunctioned 6 months after install with the led flickering intenlsly intermittently. I've owned a handyman company for the last 14yrs so I'm 100% sure it's install was correct it's simply a faulty fan. I installed a different brand and problem solved. It's a shame to throw out a 6 month old fan that has a removable led, but without finding a replacement nor one offered for sale by the seller there was no choice but replacement. Waste of money at the end of the day when it should have lasted years!
