Scruffs Worker Plus Trouser

Can't fault these trousers. As far as works trousers go these seem to be a better fit for me than most I've had. They are quite light but also heavy duty and hard wearing. There is plenty of pockets on them and my belt fits secure around the waist. They are also a tidy colour and they look good. A very reasonable price for decent,quality work trousers in my opinion. I'm really happy with mine. Thanks !!!

Good quality, good fit, comfortable to wear.

This purchase was the direct result of observing a local electrician at work and the trousers seemed both attractive to look at and practical as working clothing. The electrician confirmed that they lasted about one year of hard use and were a regular purchase which he considered very good value. My own use for such trousers is to do with photography which frequently requires kneeling to get suitable angles. This can be on poor as well as wet surfaces. Normal jeans rapidly get baggy around the knees and lose their colour and are simply not hard wearing enough for this purpose. The Scruffs as bought are described as 30 inch waist and short leg. That would normally mean 29 inch inner leg. These were nearer to 30.5 inches in length which would not normally be described as short. Fortunately this was soon rectified by my wife by her machining the leg up by the amount of the reinforced bottom of the leg which was folded under before sewing. (5 minutes). They now fit perfectly and there is no external evidence of the adjustment. The waist is also on the generous size - more like 31 inches but it was the leg length that was the main problem. Fortunately the reinforced knee kneeling pads are still perfectly positioned when kneeling down. In every other respect these are well made with secure seams that will sustain heavy use. The generous range of storage pockets of many shapes and sizes are imaginative in design and position and seem likely to be fit for most, if not all, purposes. The 35% cotton and 65% polyester trouser material is both hardy and with enough breathability to offer hard wearing with control over over-heating when working. Apart from the leg length problem, mentioned by several other reviewers regardless of waist measurements bought, these represent excellent value and would certainly be bought again when and if they ever wear out. The leg length problem will certainly need reducing as described above if the purchaser is expecting a normal short leg length. Hand sewing would be difficult because of the tough material so a sewing machine is more suitable as well as being neater, quicker and probably more durable.

I've had a few pairs of these work pants now and they have been great, usually lasting a year or so with heavy industrial use. The scruffs knee pads fit perfect and sit at the right height for kneeling down where as other brands can sit to low and need constant adjustments

Very comfortable trousers! But I have to say get the size up from what you are in jeans and trousers.

Searched Amazon for some chemical resistant work trousers, and these came up in the search as recommended. As a pair of work trousers, they're pretty good quality and comfortable and have loads of different pockets all over the place which is handy. Unfortunately I bought them looking for trousers that would be resistant to bleach, and being 65% polyester I would of expected them to be ok. Sadly, the first time I used them, I got bleach on them working and they stained. Not much good to me.

I received a pair of these as a gift and after a week of wearing them ordered another three pair. This was in 2018 and I am still wearing these same Scruffs. They are a little beat up but compared to the myriad of other work attire I've tried these beat all, hands down. I have since ordered more but have to search harder to find them. The pockets are a godsend and are ideal for holding hardware and tools. I have designated pockets for different items and these pants have become like a second set of skin. I wear them as my go-to pants on the weekend when I'm doing things around the house. I wear between a 34 & 36 so ordered the 36. They are a tiny bit bigger than normal U.S. 36 but not absurdly so. With a belt they are extremely comfortable. They are thin and durable and yet not too bad in the summer months. I am a hot body and often find heavier work pants unbearable but these have not disappointed me. Built in knee pad pockets are a major bonus as well although this will add to the r value of the pants!!! :D The only issue i have had is having to stitch up the bottom of the side pocket but this is where I keep screw drivers and blades so I expected that. Bottom line - these are the work pants you've been dreaming of.

Unos pantalones de excelente calidad a buen precio. Llevan infinidad de bolsillos, que hacen que tengas todo a mano cuando haces tareas de bricolaje (sobre todo los que van con solapa en la parte delantera). Es una marca británica a tener en cuenta por su calidad a precios ajustados... Recomendable al 110%.

Je connais ma taille en mode US. Je prends toujours des pantalons w28 l30 (taille FR36 pour 170 cm de hauteur) Ainsi je n'ai jamais besoin de raccourcir mes pantalons. Pour celui ci, la taille US W28 correspond bien à la taille 36 française mais la longueur L29 est erronée car ce pantalon est un peu plus long que ceux que j'ai et qui sont en L30 (ce qui devrait être le contraire). Ce pantalon que j'ai acheté, bien qu'il soit référencé en W28 L29 sur son étiquette, est en fait un W28 L31. Pour autant, ce n'est pas très grave. Ce n'est qu'un pantalon de travail et le bas ne touche pas le sol. Donc, bien qu'il soit un peu plus long que prévu, je ne ferais pas faire d'ourlet.

Io non seguo le mode. Mi piace la praticità. Uso pantaloni da lavoro normalmente. Anche perché trovo i pantaloni dei completi, o magari disegnati da qualche autoproclamato stilista consacrato da qualche media compiacente, semplicemente ridicoli. Questi li ho appena presi, quindi sulla durata mi riservo, anche se sembrano di ottima qualità. Per quanto riguarda il design e l'organizzazione del capo sono fantastici, è come se me li fossi disegnati io. Peccato che questa ditta non esporta in Italia. Per fortuna si trovano in giro per la rete.
