Great product at an affordable price
My hair is naturally grey, but colored, fine but somewhat coarse, and goes down to my mid-back.My hair care routine is that I wash my hair about every 3 days and I use a curling blow dryer.NATURELAB. TOKYO Perfect Shine Oil Mist has a pleasant light scent, sprays a fine mist, and works well to tame my frizz and make my hair feel soft.I believe those who say it's greasy aren't using it correctly. You shouldn't need to spray it on your roots because your scalp produces natural oils. It's your ends that have been put through the wringer and need the extra care. I spray about 8 spays on the length (top and underneath) of my barely damp hair and comb it through up to the roots. I've never had an issue with greasiness. I always get soft, shiny, unfrizzed hair.As for the price, I bought my first bottle in June 2024 and just now (February 2025) needed to order another, even though I probably still had enough to get through another month. That's $21 for 9 months worth of product, one good bargain.

Weightless and shine
I love this product I was gonna take it out my cart but I wanted to try it my hair is natural 4b I straighten it often I used it when I blow dry my hair & after I flat iron I think it’s better to be used once you flat iron it the hair doesn’t get weighed down hair stays flowy & shiny I will say this the cap is weird but I’m guess it’s like that so you cannot use a lot do not use too much of this oil just a small amount seriously just a few dabs it also makes your hair smells nice if you don’t like candy fruity smells you won’t like it

Not heat protective but it’s a good product
Absolutely love this brand! leaves my hair smooth, smelling great, and looking amazing. Unfortunately I have recently tested its “heat protection” and it was an absolute fail. This product should not be advertised as a heat protection because it doesn’t do anything.

Last step in my hair routine!
Can't be without this in my hair routine! I spray this twice on my palm then rub and apply it on all over my hair after blow drying! Always have good hair days with this!

10/10 for scent, shine and shield!
“Perfect Shine Oil Mist” lives up to its name and then some. This nectar of the gods transforms my hair from dull to dazzling with just a few spritzes. And when I say just a few spritzes…I mean it! A few too many can leave my hair looking a bit greasy (but thankfully I’ve found I can usually take a boar bristle brush and comb the extra oil down and out, if that makes sense).Aside from imparting an ethereal, glass-like shine that catches the light beautifully, the SCENT…the scent is absolute heaven and is the reason this stuff has earned a permanent spot in my beauty arsenal! Even if it did nothing for my hair, I’d still use it just as a perfume. Seriously, it’s that good, lol.The ingredients are also a win for me, some of them don’t have much research to go off of but the ones that do checked out as safe and effective, as far as hair care ingredients these days go. I definitely appreciate the added UV and free-radical protection, as well.Overall? It’s got the scent, it’s got the shine and it’s got the shield—the holy trinity of hair oils!

An Okay Product, but Not Recommended
Japanese hair oils are some of the best out there. Brands like Fino and Tsubaki are well known in Japan and in the US. Naturelab's oil mist falls short of the bar set by these brands even though they sell for similar prices. My guess is this company's not popular in Japan but markets their products globally like what's happening with many K beauty brands like Anua, Beauty of Joseon, etc.Cons: Fragrance, mildly moisturizing, slightly greasy lookThis oil mist has a very strong, cheap salon smell. It's like if you took the Marshalls candle aisle and made it a fragrance. Given, some people might like this smell, I just wanted to put that out there that the smell is very strong. Because it's an 'oil mist' it's less moisturizing than a conditioner, hair mask, or normal hair oil. It is able to be sprayed directly on top of your head but it' leaves a greasy look if you don't brush it out well.Pros:The parts of my hair that got most of the product remained moisturized the following day. For reference, I have thick, low porosity hair. I think this product may do better with folks that have finer hair since the product is light though the issue of product distribution and slight greasy look afterwards doesn't change.Recommendation: Probably just shell out the money for a better hair oil. I personally like the Lucido-L Argan Hair Treatment Oil because it's light but moisturizing without an obnoxious smell. I find Fino to be too moisturizing for my hair and I look greasy the next day. Haven't tried Tsubaki yet.

Great shine product!
Great shine product that doesn’t dry out your hair. I have been using it for years and I highly recommend it to anyone who uses heat to style their hair.
