Perfect fit at a good price
These fit perfectly for my old Mainstays gaming recliner. We all know that panic when we sit down, pull the handle, and nothing happens. You noticed the handle seemed a little easy on the pull, but you try several more times hoping it will just magically start working again. Then reality sets in, and now you have to sit in your favorite recliner straight up. After tearing it apart to see what happened, you soon realize it's time for Amazon, and the search begins. Pull your old cable out and measure it so you get the right one. This was actually easier to replace than I thought it would be. I got the 2 pack so I have a spare now. Good Luck all!

Some modification required
I like that the material is aluminum and much more sturdy than the original plastic BUT, I had to file out the groove for the cable to fit. The appearance and the fit into the recliner are perfect, and so far its performance is as expected. A good replacement and a good value.

Quick and easy - measure the size of the metal barrel end!
Quick easy fix for the couch! Cable wore out and this took 10 minutes to swap out. Make sure you measure the size of the little metal barrel at the end - I didn’t realize there were smaller and bigger ones and ended up with a couple of mismatched sizes.
