If you have a Samoyed, trying to vacuum the carpets with the original brush head is a waste of time. Mine would clog and stop rotating every 5 minutes. It would take another 20 minutes to disassemble it and get it working again. NO WAY. While the GHAMADE bristles held the fur, pulling it out with my fingers was soooo much easier than taking into the garage, using sissors and a shop-vac. I did call Miele Customer service and was told to buy the $900 'pet vacuum' as this one is not designed for pet hair. BS. As an engineer there is a simple redesign to their brush, but they were not interested. SO THANKFUL for GHAMADE. Oh, and it picked up MORE fur and dirt than previously. Well worth it.

A great alternative to the $100 Miele branded attachment, and does a great job on rugs and carpet. The attachment fits well, and the turbine spins well even at the lowest settings on the Miele C1. Appreciate that this is easily able to be opened up to remove hair and fiber buildup.

It's so much easier to remove dog's (golden retriever) hair on short pile carpets and rugs than the original. Highly recommended if the hard flooring area of your house is 60% or more.

Moving forward, you will only get suction. On retreat, the brush does roll. I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Miele attachment.

I have a Miele Compact C1 that only came with the universal floorhead attachment that doesn’t have a roller brush on it. As much as I love my Miele vacuum, that floorhead just isn’t the greatest to use on the medium pile carpet in my apartment. I was excited when I found this floorhead but wasn’t sure, with it being aftermarket, how well it would actually fit. Well, I’m glad to say that this attachment fits perfectly and really works wonderfully. I’m very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone else that has a Compact C1 and wants a roller brush floorhead for it.

I ordered this attachment for my vacuum because I’ve never figured out how to open the head up for cleaning. Though there is likely a way, this vacuum is expensive enough that I don’t like to get too rough with it!This attachment fits my vacuum perfectly, however it does not seem to have the same power that the official attachment has. Usually when I set my vacuum to the highest power on my carpet it’s an absolute upper body workout trying to drag the head across the carpet! With this attachment though….I was able to move the head around pretty easily even in full blast. After my initial cleaning the roller also didn’t seem to have as much hair wrapped around it as usual. These two facts indicate to me that this attachment is not nearly as powerful as the original. I think it is because it’s built slightly differently, since the wheels elevate it a bit it can’t grab onto the carpet as well. The feel of the attachment also feels a bit cheap. It is lightweight and plastic. After just one use mine already has some scuff marks on it.When I went to disassemble the brush head I did find it MUCH easier than the original piece! Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with any sort of instructions so I had to reference the listing on how to take it apart. And once I had it apart, well, lots of other parts started to come apart and I had a bit of a difficult time getting it all back together. Some sort of assembly guide would have been very much appreciated. In the end I seem to have gotten it back together.This is an alright value for the money. It is definitely easier to clean than the official Miele attachment, but it also lacks the power and overall quality of the original.

We've had a Miele vacuum for over 8 years, and the suction power is still great and we love it. The "turbo brush" attachment available from Miele is over $100, so decided to give the off brand one a shot. We don't have the Miele branded one to compare it to, but compared to the regular head that comes with the Miele, this works just as well, if not a little better, specifically on rugs and carpets. The rotating power brush on hardwood works okay, but it does throw pieces around sometimes if it doesn't get caught in the suction right away, so you have to do multiple passes, but that's not a big deal. I cannot say if the Miele branded power brush is any better, but I can say if you need a replacement head, this is still way cheaper than the regular head from Miele and works just fine. So you get way more than your money's worth!
