I've found zinc l-carnosine a great addition to my gut health protocol. It's a research-backed product and, unlike other forms I've tried, it's actually a fully reacted molecule, meaning it's zinc chemically bound to carnosine and not just a capsule filled with zinc oxide and L-carnosine. Capsules are small, which is great as well. Definitely recommended.

Seems rather effective but I'd like to see a different filler used perhaps with something that is beneficial to the gut.

Carnosine is considered as a geroprotector. As I am decidedly geriatric, I find that attractive. This product contains a compound of carnosine and zinc, called Zinc L-Carnosine. This has been shown to be especially beneficial for gut health. There are however, possible side-effects with it, associated with the amount of zinc intake. As with most things, you need enough zinc but not too much. These side effects are significant enough for some countries to make Zinc L-Carnosine prescription only.
