Is there a way to change the message? I recorded one and need to redo it, but it keeps playing back the original message. Thanks!

You should be able to just rotate the little slider thingie back to the “R” position and then press the the main button to record your new message. Maybe make sure that the slider is firmly in the position that it should be. I don’t have the instructions in front of me, as I gave the bear to someone else, and helped them record the message with the provided instructions, so I don’t remember the exact procedure to record a message. However, when we were recording the message, we needed to do it a few times to get it right, and didn’t have any problems, so I know that it is capable of being recorded over and over again. Do you press the bear's belly and the recording plays?

Kind of, but not exactly. The recording device goes in a pouch in the back of the bear. The recording device has a button which you push to activate the recording. So if you make sure that you put the recording device with the button facing the belly, then if you press the belly (in the area where the record ending device button is) then the recording will play. If it is facing the back, then it likely won’t play if you press the belly. I hope that that helps.

6 months earlier my granddaughter asked me if I brought her a pink teddy bear for her birthday. No. But grandma I really want a pink teddy bear that says “I love you ____”. I found it on Amazon & recorded the I love you message. She loves the bear & I love her. This bear is super soft.Edit: a couple weeks after Christmas 1 of the twins removed the recordable box & I cannot get it to record again. I have contacted Amazon & Stuffems to replace the voice recorder. Unsuccessfully!!!!!

Only 20 second timer

The bear is great, my Daughter loves it. I can't believe it only has a 20 second recording time. I would not have purchased if they made that clear, and they should!

Sweet Bear!

Mothers day was coming up and my daughter decided that she wanted to get my wife a bear. Not just any bear. "A purple bear with 'I love you' on it and I can record my voice," my four-year-old demanded.Well, I searched high and low and nothing quite like that was available, but I came across this cutie. I explained it to her and she decided it would be okay. When the bear showed up, she was delighted. It's very cuddly, bigger than I expected, and cute. The voice recorder is a little heart-shaped gadget with two functions--record and playback. We recorded my suddenly-shy child saying "I love you, Mom," and she tested it out by hugging the bear. Perfect! She was very excited to give it to her Mommy, and Mommy was also delighted.Thank you!

Great Gift for all ages

Gifted to my sister with my mother's voice from a voicemail. My mother passed away in June 2022 and my sister was super emotional and happy about the gift. Also, pink was my mother's favorite color.
