On the container it says that it’s best to eat in its own. DO NOT DO THAT. I made that mistake and it made my stomach hurt something terrible. The reason I ordered these was because I saw them on social media and someone said they were like candy and I can tell you, IT IS NOT. I’ve been using these to make garlic bread and season food. I bought this product to help give my immune system a boost without having to take garlic pills which just make me wreak of garlic. This product is versatile! You can eat them straight out of the container, the peeling comes off so easily, or add it to recipes like pasta sauce, or smoosh it up to add to a salad dressing or stew. Very tasty and mildly sweet. I don’t get heartburn from this garlic either, so huge bonus!

First time I purchased black garlic, and it won't be my last. I love the sweet mild taste. I used it on meat, and used it on top of pizza. I'll try adding it to homemade bread.

Black garlic is sweet and of a jam like consistency. Not garlicky at all. Delicious eaten as a snack or spread on toast. So many ways to enjoy. I like snacking on it with warm brie cheese.I was disappointed to see this product is made in China. Says right on the front of the package. I purchased this one thinking it was a product of USA. Think I will just pay the few dollars more and buy Canadian. Then I know what I am getting.
