This scarf/pashmina is very large and also made of a very lightweight silk that is almost translucent. The colors are beautiful and the pattern is fairly abstract, which keeps it from being fussy. Because the silk is such a thin weight you can wrap and tie it in different ways that would not work if the fabric was heavier and more bulky.

I love silk scarves, but many times they are pretty small. You have to get creative to make them work. This one, however, is amazingly large. GIFT PACKAGE This comes packaged beautifully so if you want to give it as a gift,, you won't have to have a gift box if you won't want to. The scarf is folded around a stiff insert. The folded scarf is put into a beautiful rice paper looking casing with a sticker of the company. Then that is inserted in a pretty organza drawstring bag. That all is packed in a plastic heavy duty envelope that snaps shut. This can be used to store the scarf in when not in use if you want to. I like that feature. FABRIC This is definitely silk. It is a very thin silk, however, so you have to be careful with it. It is printed beautifully and flows nicely too. COLORS The colors are rich as shown in the promotional photos but the very thin weight of the fabric makes it look more faded. SIZE This is the perfect size to wear a shawl, hip wrap if you are not too large, a head wrap, or other creative uses. It has a LOT of options which makes it a great value for the price. THE BOTTOM LINE This is a beautiful large silk scarf with lots of options. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I love that this comes well wrapped for gift giving as well as storing in the future if I want to do so. The scarf is beautiful. I highly recommend it- just keep in mind it is thin so you need to keep it away from cats, children, and sharp or rough objects that can tear or catch it.

Absolutely beautiful! It’s very light and true to the design of an antique paisley. It’s a bit brighter than an antique but it gives the same feeling. It’s a little shiny, definitely not matte. It’s a look, not something you would wear to keep warm. I’m very happy with my purchase.
