Nice clock but quite loud
I can hear this thing ticking several rooms away at night! Otherwise hasn't let me down

Keeping up with children abroad, get a 24 hr clock.
With 2 adult children abroad, it's difficult to know when to make contact or imagine what they are up to. 2 of these clocks were a cost effective solution that can be changed wherever they go. Many other solutions define the location or are part of a big map. Would work just as well for home use. Takes a little while to get used to where the numbers are. Easy to read, simple and stylish and at a good price

24 Hr Wall Clock
Not my original first choice butFrom the picture it looks impressive.I'm hoping it will keep good time.I have a similar clock to this at roughly the same price that keeps losing time so I'm hoping this one is better.

A CONVERSION CHALLENGE AT TIMES
As a former ( retired ) London Underground employee I am familiar with thinking and recording time in a 24 hour context and can automatically convert a 12 hour clock face display to it's numerical 24 hour equivalent almost without thinking ( if you know what I mean ), but this clock's face is catching me out because the hour hand isn't where - at a cursory glance - I would expect it to be. I need more time to allow the details to sink in and for my brain not to assume something else just because the hour hand is not pointing where I would expect it to indicate from a distance. It's an interesting thing to get used to and I shall persevere. The clock's mechanism keeps very good time, although I do detect a just-audible ticking sound from it during a quiet evening - something it's predecessor in my living room had not produce.Eamonn
