Gorgeous Lego Advent Calendar Set For Years of Enjoyment
I built this and it turned out fantastic. The instructions at times where awful though. These are the mini Legos? Not the full size and not the very tiny ones. I did end up missing a few pieces but didn't stop me from finishing. The lights are a joke. I am presently trying to wrap around the inside and along the rail. One note I would recommend is to attach a 100 ohm resistor to the inside of the light box just before it goes out to the lights. Otherwise they are overly bright. 1/8watt is fine. That's for those who can solder. I also disabled the flashing but that's just my personal preference. The set starts out pretty slow. By about day 15 it really starts to get busy. The calendar box is gorgeous and hated to throw out but got limited space. I will post a pic of my lights when I get them run the way I want to. Otherwise it's as pictured in the ad.

Fun product and great customer service
I'm enjoying putting this advent calendar together. Like most people who've reviewed this product, Day 2 had a missing piece(s). I reached out to the seller and let them know that there are parts missing, they sent me a link where I could buy the replacement parts. Not only was I able to get a replacement part, the seller also refunded me entirely for the replacement parts. I'm very pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the responsiveness of this seller in solving my issue.

Cute Set But It's Missing Pieces
This is truly a unique advent calendar, and the directions are very clear. We made it all the way to Day 22 and then discovered...it's MISSING SEVERAL PARTS that are key to the display. And it's not just one part: it's missing the rails, all axels, and all wheels for the train, the brown tree trunk, 4 green pieces for the Christmas tree, as well as the parts to make the gingerbread. The Christmas tree can not be built. I tried reaching out to the seller to see if we could have a replacement package for Day 22 sent to us, but the link shows that Amazon is handling customer service, and there was no option to request replacements, only a return. I purchased it in October, so the return window has passed. I had been thinking about purchasing a similar advent calendar from the seller for next year, but, given this experience, I think we'll search out a different brand.

Very detailed
I thought this was a cool advent calendar. It makes a little train on a track, and the detail in all the little items is great. Now that it's complete, I can bring out every year around Christmas as a decoration.

Perfect for Those That Love Building Blocks, Trains, and Christmas
I love building blocks, trains, and Christmas so when I saw this set I had to get it. I love how all the steps were broken down into 24 boxes to help correspond with the countdown to Christmas. Looking at the instruction manual, I did cheat and wait the first twelve days before starting so I could build the base all at once. I wouldn't allow myself to go beyond the current day so it was torture to wait but it also kept me excited and engaged each day. I loved the set and highly recommend it. The only issue, which I don't have to have so I didn't remove a star for it, was the included light set. Love the idea but the lights included just burn through the batteries way too quick. I couldn't even get a full night out of them before they dimmed to nothing.

A Fun and Festive Building Experience with a Minor Hiccup in Instructions
I recently purchased this Advent Calendar for my 5 year old, and I must say, it's a delightful addition to our holiday traditions. The quality of the blocks is commendable – they're sturdy and well-crafted, ensuring that the end product is both aesthetically pleasing and durable. The packaging deserves special mention. It's attractive and well-organized, making the process of opening a new box each day an exciting and enjoyable experience. The thematic design adds to the festive spirit, and the anticipation of discovering what each box holds is a great joy for both children and adults alike. However, there's a slight drawback. The instructions provided with the set aren't as clear and user-friendly as those found in LEGO sets. This can be a bit of a challenge, particularly for younger builders or those new to constructing with building blocks. While the end result is absolutely charming, be prepared to spend a bit more time and effort in figuring out some of the steps. In conclusion, despite the minor issue with the instructions, this Advent Calendar building set is a fantastic purchase. It not only adds a unique touch to the holiday season but also provides an engaging activity for the family. I would definitely recommend it, keeping in mind the need for a bit of patience and possibly some creative problem-solving along the way.

Cute, but missing pieces
I like the idea and it has cute packaging, but I'm missing pieces in more than a few boxes. When I reached out to the email in the packaging, no one has responded to send replacement parts. Kids are extremely disappointed that they will not be completing the train before Christmas.

Good connections for fake legos!
My son is a Lego aficionado and always prefers the real thing, but he is enjoying putting this calendar together. He says the blocks make good connections despite being knockoff. I note these are not normal scale legos — they’re more like the mini ones. Overall a fun set, cheaper than a realLego advent calendar. The packaging is very nice too in terms of looking tidy while you open a door each day.
