Pair of New Replacemnt Keys for HON File Cabinets and Various Office Furniture with Codes 101E Thru 255E Cut to Code (115E)

I picked up a HON 4-drawer file cabinet in excellent condition at our Parish flea market sale. After cleaning it up, I realized that it had no keys so, after a brief internet search, Amazon's results came up.I ordered the key, according to the key number. When the keys (2) arrived, I tested them and they worked perfectly. I sprayed some WD-40 in the lock cylinder, as I always do with locks and I now have a great 4-drawer file cabinet.

Didn't work as they should, the notch in the keyway is too wide, it's missing a subtle cut, and one of the peaks that should lift a pin is a bit narrow, so I think it's missing the pin. It's not worth the hassle of returning due to the distance and wait at a UPS store so I tossed them.

If key doesn't seem to fit, jiggle it around a bit, it will work. I have to do this every time to lock and unlock, but I am happy that now I can lock and open the cabinet. As for me, I kind of like it that way, because if someone else fines the keys and tries to open it, they will think that those are not the right keys. So, for this reason I give it a 5 star.
