We made a giant chrismas tree outside with our flag pole and this was our topper. It drained the batteries pretty fast but it works well outside and seems to be waterproof! Remote is a great feature you just have to be really close for it to work! I was pleasantly surprised at how many options of colors and speeds!

I am using this star for a Christmas tree that I have outside. It looks great and works perfectly!

It really comes with great colors and effects- the new tree I had had fancy LED lights so I didn’t have a plug to plug the old star into. The batter compartment for this one is a little big and heavy- three AA batteries so you have to tuck the battery compartment away in the tree, and as the batteries wane you have to really point the remote close to that area. I noticed the colors dimming after a few uses- so I found myself turning on the Christmas lights when I was home but the star sparingly. With a full charge it’s quite beautiful, tons of color choices

Love this tree topper. it "fits" the decor and idea we had for decorating the tree in bright colors this year -- my idea was "coloring book" Christmas tree. The tree has MANY lights in basic colors, very bright. No ornaments. Curling ribbon in the same bright basic colors. To TOP it off -- this lovely star which I set to "multiple" colors. Only drawback-- the star is too heavy for the little branch at top of the tree but we managed.

Love the remote very easy to use the colors are very pretty
