This clean, simple, military-inspired Timex Expedition Camper watch hasn't changed much since 1918. We made it a little lighter, added a nylon Fast Wrap strap with Velcro fastener, and our signature Indiglo night-light.

Rugged, tough and good looking watch
Rugged and good looking watch. I bought this to replace exactly the same watch lost on recent travels. Had the last one at least 15 years, relied on it during world travels, training & competing in national GB sporting championships. Delighted to find it is still available and the same great look & rugged construction - a great classic!

Basic watch
Nice basic watch. Good value and appears well made. Lightweight and easy to read. Comfortable strap.Luminous dial is a great addition. Minor complaint.......it ticks fairly loudly like a cheap clock. 2 months later the luminous dial packed in. Pity.

Slice of nostalgia plus indiglo night light
Love this watch it brings back a lot of fond memories. My first few watches when young were all Timex. This Timex looks great very outdoorsy. Waterproof to 100 meters which is great. Strap is great and the face on the watch is very easy to read except for the date which is miniscule but does not bother me. I really got this watch for the night light feature indiglo. My children bought me a lovely solar watch that keeps perfect time but if it doesn't get enough sunlight during the day then lume doesn't last too long and I like to be able to check the time during the night or when I wake. Timex's indiglo light makes it so easy to see the time in pitch dark. All in all this watch has no downside it looks great, so light you forget it's on your wrist, it is cheap for a watch and best of all the indiglo night light, plus keeps great time. Highly recommended

A very good timepiece for the money.
Bought this on Amazon to replace the identical item (bought from Argos) which I'd mislaid. I have a good watch, an Omega but I needed a cheap, lightweight watch for working around the farm, something I could afford to write off if it got damaged. Must have had the first Timex Expedition for four years, it took a hammering, never ran out of battery and kept perfect time and, as I said, I only replaced it with the same thing because I lost it.I like the plain, uncluttered design of this; some cheap watches are over-designed to say the least. The fabric strap is leather lined and comfortable, the face is clear and easy to read and pressing the winder lights the dial so that you can see it in the dark. All in all, a good buy for under thirty quid.

Actually, not bad for the money !
I had a Timex mechanical watch as a child which lasted over 30 years in working order & I bought this because of the high waterproof rating, pale off-white dial & easy to see in the dark. It stops the second hand when you pull the crown right out so it can be set really accurately. It is accurate to a few seconds a month.Itβs called an Expedition Camper which exactly what I use it for.Changed the strap for a French NATO type one which looks better with a black buckle rather than the supplied leather-&-nylon looking one which was quite stiff & has an incongruous nickel buckle.

Light not working
Bought this watch November 24 and replaced the battery twice as the light wasn't working for my 85 year old husband. Latest replacement battery still doesn't make the light work

Great everyday watch βοΈ
My husband really loves this watch and has always replaced with the same one after many years of good service. Hard wearing watch with a comfortable strap, doesn't sweat your wrist. He even managed to put it through the washing machine and it still came out working π. Would definitely recommend to any hard working man. Easy read display π
