Electric Rototiller Garden Tiller 12 Inch Tilling Width 8-Inch Electric Tiller 10.5 Amp Tiller Cultivator for Garden Yard

Purchased this "electric cultivator" not really knowing what to expect. Delivered early. 10-minute unboxing and assembly. Its light weight belies its toughness. I'm in east Tennessee. The ground is hard clay with imbedded rocks and roots. This cultivator tore through the sunbaked clay with ease. It spit up rocks and cut through roots. I let it settle in at about 6 to 8 inches deep, then let'er eat. I was preparing a seed bed for some lawn renovation. I made multiple passes to pulverize the soil then used it to mix in some black topsoil. Worked great!! I have about 100 feet of block retaining wall for my next landscaping project. The 12" width will be perfect to loosen the soil for easy removal with a shovel. Beats doing all that excavation by hand. I kept the box to store it in. Initially I was going to use it and then sell it. Now I can see all kinds of uses for it. Money well spent.

Since my husband has had an aortic valve and mitral valves replaced and the aortic arch replaced, most of his physical strength is gone. This depresses him totally. He started a project that required digging. Since we did not own a tiller, I asked my sister to lend me hers. I despise borrowing, but I felt I had to. She said we could borrow it, but she never made it available. So I decided to give my husband a tiller for Father’s Day. After much reviewing, I settled on this one. The color is beautiful, the size is great, the weight is perfect and my husband LOVES it! “This thing is a beast!” He laughed with excitement. He was happy and I was thrilled! Finally my sister came and saw it and hinted at possibly borrowing it, but I replied, “Buy your own. They are on sale and pick a different color if you want. I will guard this sweet beast with my life! Just kidding!

This thing changed my life. I blew out my shoulder doing the tilling by hand last year with a Garden Claw. This was literally a lifesaver for prepping my garden. Easy to use and quick. I tilled an area 12 feet by 20 feet in about 30 minutes. Plants (and my shoulder!) were very happy.

This good looking machine works quite well. The set up was a bit challenging with the space where you screw in the wheels was pretty small. They do provide the tool needed to screw in the bolts though. That’s the primary reason I’m not giving it a five. It is a bit light so I took a little extra effort to really dig into the grassy area along my fence door. Luckily we’ve gotten a lot of rain so once the blades got through the top layers, mushing up the soft dirt was a breeze. I’m exited that this tiller will really make it easy to churn up the ground.

Have pile of dirt across front yard from sewer line replacement. This tiller did an excellent job of loosening up hard surface. Sorted out rocks, clay chunks, tree roots and left over construction debris while never faltering or breaking.

My first order was lost on shipment. Upon a chat, a second was sent promptly. Thanks Amazon. I'll see how longevity works, but I used it today, and it worked amazingly well on overgrown weeds. It is light, powerful, and dug better than expected.

Very light but very handy. I am 5'2, 135 lbs and was able to get my garden completed. Wish it was self propelled as I sure did get a workout. But good product for price

It was easy to assemble. It was exactly what we ordered. And that teal color will make it the envy of my gardening pals.
