Bought this battery in October 2024, and now it is not working. So, overall I HATE THIS VACUUM. it totally sucks!! haha But, seriously, the hype of a Dyson and it's cost is stupid. It's one of the worst purchases I've ever made. Now, if I have to replace this battery a second time, I am irate. What kind of product is that? Doesn't even last a year?Prior to this the old battery wouldn't even operate the higher vac setting without stopping in under a minute.New, second battery only good for 7 months. Terrible product, if I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Product description made it easy to select just the right replacement part for vacuum.Great price as it cost 2x more from manufacturer. My Dyson vacuum was not used much and the original battery charger didn't last the year. Same with my hand held Dyson. Glad this charger is availablethru Amazon for much less cost. Hope folks know you can get cheaper replacement thru Amazon instead of going to the manufacturer. Will just have to see how long my new battery charger will last.

Our Dyson wouldn't hold a charge but for 5 minutes when using the Max speed. It worked fine on the lower speed. But when you need that extra power.....We are now able to use the Max power all we want!

Purchased V7 battery replacement and it worked perfectly for approximately 2 months. Emailed manufacturer for replacement but no response. Contacted Amazon and they honored warranty. Purchasing new battery directly from Dyson which I should have in the first place but I thought I could save some money. UPDATE Amazon contacted manufacturer and they sent me a new battery and asked me to provide 3 month performance feedback. Well it stopped charging just shy of 3 months. Manufacturer contacted me and requested that I send battery back to them for evaluation. I requested pre-paid shipping container and that's the last time I have had any correspondence with them. Therefore I purchased battery directly from Dyson. I had to pay more but now I have a working vacuum and secure satisfaction that Dyson will stand by their product.

Bought on May 17 and it worked until end of Aug. However, outside the return date of June 17.UPDATE: HeShunChang contacted me and provided a replacement unit. Great customer service!

I like it very much I installed it in about 3 minutes. A few tips to make it very easy removal of old battery just take the battery off you do not have to take the whole vacuum apart like some videos show. Just open up the shoot for taking trash out into the garbage can. Remove the three screws use a drill much easier than by hand if possible. Pull the old battery out slide the new part in and tighten the screws close the trash shoot. If you ordered the right part it should work.
