A+ for the exterior, and the leather, printing, and silver edge-painting all seem great as well.As it's a non-standard size and fairly heavy, with small print on the type of extra-thin pages that make me think of a bible, it's not something I can imagine actually reading from, but a great collectible for nerds.

There's no point in acting all surprised about it. You knew only too well that you were perpetrating fraud, and you decided to roll the dice and pull the wool over the eyes of an unsuspecting customer. Alas, you chose the wrong person to defraud. Little do you know that not only do I possess every single version of Douglas Adams's repertoire, I also have a background in publishing in the UK.Let this review be an object lesson in fair practices. I can only hope that you will think twice before pulling off a stunt like this, and that you will spare your future customers the same treatment you have handed out to me. Although given your track record, I doubt it.

Gostei bastante, comprei em uma SUPER promoção relâmpago.

Lots of Monty Python-esque dry British humour. This book takes you on a wild ride through space and time with characters as colourful as parots. From suicide-inducing droids to two headed egomaniacs, Vogon poetry to what has to be one of my favorite parts of this book: the whale. As you laugh yourself through the book the cover starts to make more and more sense. And lastly, speaking of the cover: it's just gorgeous!

Arrivé 3 jours après la commande. A moins de 12€ (version livre relié) je ne m'attendais pas à un livre de cette qualité. Superbe. Papier agréable, quelques belles images, belle couverture. Un beau cadeau pour tout adolescent/adulte lisant l'anglais (niveau moyen) qui aime l'humour ou la science-fiction. Ou les trois ;-) . Quintessentially English, funny side. Heartfelt recommendation.
