This is a great book for beginning readers!

I bought this book for my toddler granddaughter as I did when my daughter was a little girl. It is the sweetest story and the book is illustrated beautifully! Every child should have a copy!

Reading is fun, can boost the imagination, self esteem, and teach children how important they are to others.

I loved reading this book to my children and have now given it to my great nephew. I can still recite it a big part of it after reading it so many times 20 years ago.

Purchased for a baby shower to go with a handmade bib/burp cloth set that matched. This book baby is a classic. Every mama needs it for their baby. The size is larger, making it easy to grip and turn pages. She loved the fact it was a board book, durable and safe for baby. :)

What can I say, I heard about this book from a friend of mine when my daughter was 4 years old. I bought it and read it to her at least weekly while reading other books as well. We both LOVED it. Today my daughter is 21, has given me a granddaughter and guess what I have bought this book again. I read it to my granddaughter a couple times a week. She LOVES the book as much as I do. The first time I read the book with my daughter I had tears. The first time I read the book with my granddaughter I cried. I am not a touchy feelie kinda of guy, I have dealt with all types of criminals from murderers on down, but this book touches my heart every time I read it with either my daughter or granddaughter and I am sure it will touch your heart also.

The story was simple but sweet. I would've preferred names other than "Big Brown Hare" and "Little Brown Hare," (or something like that) since you have to say the names over and over and over. The warning is that you need to record it pretty soon after you get it. This was part of a 3 item order that I placed in June. In September, I'm ready to record it for my niece's birthday this weekend. I spent over an hour and a half messing with it late last night when I should've been packing. I started out okay, but then the recordings would stop in the middle of the playback. I thought it would be the batteries, so I had to hunt till I found 3 new AAA's. I replaced them, hoping I could pick up where I left off, since it says replacing batteries won't change anything. I had more problems, so I had to erase everything and start over. It kept saying turn to the page you want to record. I tried everything, but it wouldn't let me record the first few pages, though it let me re-record the last few. I was so upset. Today I started the return process, and it said the return window only went through July. Luckily, I got a lovely Amazon customer service lady who courteously and efficiently handled the situation. I would've been happy with a replacement, but she said that company's inventory turns over quickly (or something to that effect) so she could do a refund instead. That works. And Amazon gets major points for being so easy to work with. I order a LOT through here, and intend to keep doing so. I haven't read a review that said anyone else has had a problem with these (and they are, after all, Hallmark products), so I'll buy one locally and save my receipt till I know I'm happy with it.

A great book for young children and parents.

Bella la storia e le illustrazioni, purtroppo il formato pop up è piccolissimo, per cui poco comodo da leggere con i bambini. Consiglierei un formato diverso.

The pop-up works well for a 2-y-old
