Adjustable. Screws on securely. Couldn’t be better
This is the 4th food and water bowl I have purchased in order to transport a cat on a flight. Every single one I have purchased was overly priced, overly sized, did not fit right or didn’t screw and would fall off easily. This was absolutely perfect. It attaches securely and is a crock style. Even though the picture doesn’t show it, it has the screw on caps to screw on from the outside, the water can be poured in from the outside and is moveable if you want to. What’s even better is the screws on the back that attach to the cage actually slide back and forth so you can adjust it to fit your crate. It was a lot larger than I thought and I thought it wouldn’t fit the door to the my small cat crate but it fit perfectly and since it is adjustable I can get it to fit just the way I need it to. I highly recommend this item. It far exceeded my expectations and made me so happy after trying so many different kinds.

Bigger than expected
Fastens securely to the kennel door and holds plenty of food and water. The lip that runs around the inside edge helps to control spillage, but it does get in the way of the water funnel. It also makes the openings kind of narrow, and since the bowls are deep it can make it hard for the pet to get to food in the bottom. The biggest issue though is that it’s very large. When fastened to a regular size cat kennel it’s difficult to put the cat in because the bowl blocks most of the entrance. And then when you close the door the cat loses a lot of interior space. All that said, it was exactly what we needed to meet the requirements for our domestic flight. We did have to buy a larger kennel to accommodate the cat and the bowl, but to be honest he was a little big for his other kennel anyway.

Handy!
This was so useful. I attached it to my dogs fencing so she could get a drink without tipping her bowl.

Decent quality for the price.
This is a decent bowl for what we need. I keep it attached to my puppy’s crate while we are gone all day and I want him to have access to water. While it holds a sufficient amount, the piece that attaches to the outside to supposedly make pouring water easier does not fit around the wire of our crate. I tried to shove it in as hard as I could, but it doesn’t go all the way in and therefore just pours onto the floor if I try to fill the water via that fill spout. Not a huge deal breaker as I can just reach inside the cage and fill it. It just would have been a nice feature.

Great upgrade for air travel
This fits well on the front door of a Petmate intermediate plastic kennel suitable for airline travel. I had a black plastic dish that came with the kennel, which attached by hooking over the horizontal bars in the front door. However, one of the plastic hooks broke after the first use. Luckily I had purchased a backup for that trip. This dish is a MUCH BETTER upgrade. Please noted that the knobs for attaching it to the kennel screw off, revealing a post with a vertical gap in the middle. It took me a minute to realize this was designed for securing around/surrounding a vertical bar on the door, keeping it securet! Ingenious! (I wonder if folks that found the posts too large did not realize that they should attach them directly to the bars on the door, rather than between them?)In addition to being able to select the placement on the door (left vs center vs right, higher vs lower) - the posts are situated along a slot on the dish, so they can slide left/right to create the perfect spacing BETWEEN the bars on the kennel door. I used this to my advantage, sliding the dish far left, keeping it more in the corner to not obstruct my dog's face. The posts are a thick plastic, and with the knobs tightened, the two halves of the post are held secure. No breakage during 4 flights in our trip, and very pleased with the secure placement & durability of this product.

Well made crate food and water dishes
I love how easy this sectional dish attaches to inside of crate and won't slip down or fall off of crate walls.I was able to use on sides of her playpen as well. Because the adjustable sl8de bar and screws that come with this two sectional dish.

It leaks
the two round channels that lead to the water bowl are too short. The kennel has to be perfectly level and at best are too short after installing it on the crate door snugly. The crate door is wider than the cardboard it is shipped on. Looks great on the cardboard package but I have had it leak backwards on the outside too many times.

Great idea but water tubes are too short
Just like others have mentioned before, these bowl would work really well if the tubes that funnel the water into the bowl were a little longer. We attached pieces of electrical shrink tubing to extend the original tube. If you don’t extend the tube, the water hits the rim and rubs into the kennel and gets everything wet.

I would purchase this unit again!
We purchased two of these! Construction was good, limits water spills. Only issue we has to keep in mind is that it affixed to the front of the kennel, and made it some what less space in our case due to the kennel design, to put our rambunctious kitties inside. (The feeding unit is maybe 2" or so in total thickness; so when that is subtracted from the kennel entry door it was slightly tricky, but really, it did not flop around, water did not spill out, and it made the grade for the airlines!Perhaps one thing my husband pointed out for this feeder design for 'smaller animals', cats, and small dogs: the feeder water/food have a lip around the rim that protrudes inward, IF your animal was small enough to insert a snout deeper past the rim it 'may' present a 'potential' issue with catching snout, stuck in the dish, (Although not sure, as I carefully observed both our cats, one of size and grand stature, one of more regular to smaller stature, without incident, during heavily supervised eating and drinking, prior to departure).

As expected - but...
The product works great as expected and does everything it should. It's stable, dynamically attaches to any cage, and has a nice divider for food and water. That being said, the little bit on top that's supposed to work to easily funnel water into the dish doesn't extend long enough into the dish, and if you use it, water spills out. I don't use that part at all. That being said, the water funnel isn't required at all.
