Wonderful bow to start em young!!
Wow!!! I shoot a 60lb recurve for target, and got this for my son for his 2 year birthday. Its fantastic!!! He knows daddys bow, so he loved it right when he unwrapped it. After getting it out of the packaging he took to it almost immediately. We practiced on the sliding glass door for a bit then went out to daddys target range. He got a good shot off on the first day at 2yrs old!! This bow is age appropriate for 3+ yrs, and has the perfect power and draw for my son (who is quite big for his age). Short range, but exactly what you want. Its not "idiot proof" and takes coordination for him to operate. I wouldnt think most kids his age would pick it up so quick, but hes seen me shoot many times. He loves to see me shoot which is why I got it for him. This is more than a toy. This is a learning experience, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. EDIT: I super glued the arrow rest in. He likes the quiver, but I have a feeling he wont use it long (I barely use mine). I dont think we will ever use the target. Target is nice, we just have other things to shoot at. Edit 2: Day 2 of son using bow and I cant get some of the bad reviews here out of my head. One said its a 'plastic piece of junk', and I guess that guy was expecting a $400 compound bow. Another said its easily broken, but this is well made. Its 9 pieces of ridged plastic put together by real metal screws. I dont think my son could break it if he tried. Bow doesnt flex? Yes it does, but you dont need a bow stringer to string it. String breaks easy? I dont see how thats possible, and my 8 year old could fix it in two minutes if it did with no extra string or parts. The worst review here that makes me lose a little faith in humanity: "kids may get frustrated if arrow doesn't hit target". I dont know what to say about that other than maybe this person needs to start a pre-paid therapy fund. This set is great until I get him to a real one at about 5 yrs old.

A Brave Adventure Unleashed with Toysery Bow and Arrow!
The Toysery Bow and Arrow has brought a slice of the movie "Brave" right into our home for my three-year-old daughter. This delightful toy has quickly become a cherished playtime companion, providing an engaging mix of entertainment and skill-building.As a fan of the movie "Brave," my daughter's eyes lit up when she saw this bow and arrow set. The design is charming and inviting, capturing the spirit of adventure that she loves from the movie. It's wonderful to watch her role-play her favorite scenes while cultivating her imagination. What impressed me most is the balance that the Toysery set strikes between ease of use and the opportunity to learn. The simplicity of picking up the bow and launching the arrows was perfect for her age, but it also presented enough of a challenge to keep her engaged and determined to improve. I've noticed how it's gradually helping her develop her aim and finger dexterity, which is fantastic for her motor skills.Unfortunately, there was a minor drawback that slightly affected our experience. The suction cups on some of the arrows came slightly deformed, which hindered their ability to stick to surfaces. It's a minor inconvenience, and I'm hoping it was just a one-off issue. Despite this hiccup, my daughter still has a blast shooting the arrows and pretending to be a fearless archer. In summary, the Toysery Bow and Arrow set has added a touch of magic and adventure to our playtime routine. It's simple enough for a three-year-old to grasp while providing enough challenge to foster skill development and imaginative play. If you're looking for a way to spark your child's creativity and help them fine-tune their motor skills, this set is a fantastic choice. Just be mindful of the suction cup issue, but don't let it deter you from giving your little one the chance to become a brave archer! 🏹🌟🎈

A favorite of my daughter’s toys
This was a Christmas present for my daughter several years ago. It held up really well until an overeager friend was a little rough so one plastic end that holds the bowstring snapped. We have repurchased the same item because it is one of her favorite toys (she is 6 1/2 now). It’s always a big hit with her friends. We’ve also purchased replacement arrows from Amazon from another company. Perhaps not quite as good suction as the originals, but good enough.

Good in concept, but dangerous due to quality!
The toy, with the right supervision, is great for kids. Easy to have 'target' fun. However, one BIG problem. The plastic shaft on the arrows is thin and apparently brittle. We've had two arrows fracture (see photos) - one as it hit the target and one when it fell to the ground - leaving not only a sad child, but very sharp, broken arrow shafts. This is really unacceptable quality and is, actually, a safety risk unexpected with this toy. It's easy to teach a child not to aim at people or animals, not to use it inside, etc. But how do you address an arrow fracturing just because they hit the target? We'll look for an alternative, as I expect all the arrows included will break before too long. Unless this was a 'limited manufacturing flaw', I'd advise those who have bought this or are considering it to recognize this quality and safety risk.

Fun for all
Got this for my daughter years ago and now that she has out grown it, my granddaughters play with it. Very sturdy toy and fun for the whole family

Best gift for my almost 2 year old!
I planned on saving this for 4 months until his 2nd birthday since it says for 6+ year olds but I'm so glad we gave it to him early. It's sturdy but light enough for him to handle it. The suction wasn't the best on the target but it worked well on the sliding glass door. I drew a target on a large magnetic white board and that worked the best for playing indoors. It's really a great gift.
