Well worth the money
Works good. Opens big enough to pick up a 2 liter around the side of it. I can oick up beach towels with it. Clothing, grab cloths out the dryer or next to it when they fall over there. Makes cleaning up the house a lot better sonce your not constantly bending over. It does make noise like others have mentioned but its not a big deal.

Does the job well.
Use it every day in the yard to pick up debrie. Couldn’t do without it. It is easy to use and built strongly.

No grip
I was kind of disappointed with this gripping. The jaws were hard to keep closed. Plus not as easy as other ones I’ve tried.Broke in less then a year of use.

Works great for picking up trash.
It’s a reacher. It’s a grabber. It’s a tool. It works great for picking up trash.

nice handy tool
i definitely recommend this option compared to some others! it’s pretty affordable and definitely worth the price. i bought it for picking up pieces of litter and random junk — it’s definitely been helpful when sorting trash and recycling. i haven’t had any issues with its mechanisms, the claw opens and closes nicely and has a pretty decent grip on whatever it is i’m trying to pick up. i love the handle, super easy to press down and i find the finger indentations helpful as well. it has the option to rotate the head 90 degrees, which i have done several times and had no issue switching back and forth. if you gently pull the tool apart where the black clasp is in the middle, the two metal rods disconnect and you can fold the pole into two pieces for easy storage. definitely worth it, would 100% recommend!

Flimsy but Well Made...
I had back surgery, so I started watching YouTube videos how to prepare for afterwards. I bought this grabber because one of them recommended by this. You know one of those reviewers where they get a commission if you buy through the link. I depend on it heavily, unfortunately it is flimsy and it does not pick up anything that has a bit of weight. In addition, 31" in length is too short. I'm just shy of 5' 10", and would have to bend over a bit to pick up objects off the floor which defeats the purpose. It is well made though and easy to operate.

Great but not for people with weak hands
It does what it is intended to do and it does it well. It can be folded so it fits well in a bag or carryon. The problem is that one must have a somewhat strong hand to squeeze it. I bought two of these for relatives with Parkinson’s and weak hands. I know at least one of them will not be able to use it. Still gave them 5 stars because they are well made and work well.

Hard to decide! Buy Both!
The photos show the 2 grabbers that I purchased yesterday from Amazon Prime. The Pikstik is an exact replacement for the one I have had for many years now. The folding one I bought from Amazon Prime as well.I drive a mobility scooter and I have had the Pikstik unit secured across the top of the tiller and would perfectly set behind my 2 rear view mirrors and secured with 2 small clips. When I would spot something that would be a road hazard to cars by getting picked up by a moving vehicle and shot into a passing vehicle or a vehicle following it, I would swoop in and grab the object off the street and then place it off the road or if small enough I would toss it into the trash bag that I carry with me. I use the grabber almost every time I take the scooter out for a ride. I also have a 30” extension magnet for the metal objects that I find in the road like lug nuts, screws, nails, construction staples, hubcaps and items that I don’t know what they are. As a retired Army veteran, I used to be a helicopter mechanic and crew chief on Huey’s and unfortunately I was involved in an incident where a piece of metal was picked up and thrown into my tail rotor as the pilot lifted off the tarmac. The object destroyed the tail rotor causing the craft to spin out of control and the pilot had to slam us down HARD which caused horrific damage and injury to the pilot. I was lucky enough to only sustain minor injury. The one BIG rule that was always talked about was F. O. D. (Foreign Object Damage). Any object that is on the ground is a potential hazard to any aircraft so major attention is focused on making sure that no FOD is on the tarmac. The same applies to roads and streets and anywhere that vehicles travel. An object can be picked up by the tread of a vehicle and either right then or maybe later when that vehicle is on the highway or freeway and has enough speed going that the object stuck in the tread of the tire suddenly lets go of it. This object can and does catapult out from the tire and can easily damage a vehicle that happens to be behind them. I have seen objects penetrate through windshields or strike the body of the vehicle causing serious damage/or injury. So in my small town, while out and about I take it upon myself to help remove potentially dangerous objects from the streets in our town.So enough of the FOD stuff. I have always had the Pikstik non folding grabber handy for me to use. So why did I also buy the folding one? Well I sometimes, rarely but sometimes I wished I had 2 grabbers to aid in some of the larger items that I find in the streets. The other day I somehow managed to snap one of the grabber legs off from a branch sticking out of a large bush. I attempted a JB Weld repair with somewhat less than stellar precision and decided to just purchase a new one.So here it is. The Pikstik has a price tag of around $25. The folding one was $10 on a 50% reduced price from $20. The photos show that other than the folding difference the 2 grabbers are identical. I will install the non folding one back where the broken one has been riding for years. The folding one has a little snap clamp that I have installed under the seat of my mobility scooter and I can access it easily when I need a second one to assist with the Pikstik. Both of these grabbers seem to work identically and equally. One $25. The other $9.95. Hummmm. Big difference in the price for what? I’m not sure. But I am sure that I needed to replace the broken one I have with the same. I haven’t used the folding one yet but I can tell that it will probably perform equally as well as the non folding one. My recommendation would be as follows……Buy both of them and enjoy! I will! Now, I have 2 fur-babies that are ready to go for a ride today in “their” scooter. Hopefully I will try the folding one today.I will be posting this same review on both of the grabbers pages.
