I use a lot of poured resin as well as a resin printer, and a face mask with a good filter should be used at all times when resin vapors are present. These filters screwed right onto my face mask and work perfectly. This respirator fits my 3M 6000 Half mask and I feel the quality of the filter is just the same as the Original filter that came in the bundle that I got. I mainly use this as a dust mask for when I'm woodworking in the garage and it's kept the dust particles out of my lungs, nose, and mouth. The filter works well for my purposes and is a fraction of the cost of the original, so double plus there!

The pink plastic cover with the additional filter cartridge does not stay on the gray housing filter. It just does not snap together. I’ve had these filters before I bought at Home Depot and they don’t come apart. You change them as a whole.

They easily 1/4 turn themselves out if you brush against something or you are not careful about putting them on or taking your mask off, just a slight nudge and to the ground they go, not a tight fitting cartridge on the 3M mask.
