Great product, much better sound than the cheap one we were using

A noticeable improvement over the previous, older generation cables, that I was using. Stopped my soundbar from dropping out during quieter moments during DVD/Blu Ray playback. Would recommend.

Soundfam Optical cable extension is a very good cable if you need a long run from your TV to DAC I have no loss of signal when using it via my DAC so I can recommend this product

Well made cable and the the angle of it is just what I need for the back of my TV cable is now more tidy.

The cable works as it should. It carries the optical audio signal. But the ends don’t click into place like they should. So the connection is not secure. I have used tape to secure the cable.

Dieses optische Audiokabel von „Soundfam“ ist nachgemessene ca. 3m lang, verfügt über fest am Kabel installierte Abdeckstopfen und lässt sich mittels des optischen Verlängerungskabels beispielsweise und getestet vom selben Hersteller auch auf 6m verlängern, ohne dass es zu Signalausfall kommt. Die Nylonummantelung dürfte etwas Knickschutz bieten und fasert nicht aus. Das Gewicht des Kabels beträgt ca. 118 Gramm und es kommt in einer wiederverschließbaren Plastiktüte mit einzelverpacktem Klettkabelbinder. Die „Vergoldung“ ergibt für mich keinen technischen Sinn, da ja nur ein optisches Signal übertragen wird und Korrosionsschutz oder bessere elektrische Leitfähigkeit keine Rollen spielen.
