Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Game

This is a fun push your luck co-op. Easy to understand rules, very thematic but not gory.Last game my son pushed me into leatherface so he could escape to the van since he had the key and I was "useless". 5 stars.

Learned how to play at Gen Con and grabbed a copy there. Played with several friends every night while we were in Indianapolis. The cooperative/not-everyone-needs-to-live concept to the game had us rolling in tears. Got busy in the Fall, but remembered to bring it out for the holiday gatherings with friends and family. So much fun. I can't wait to see what they bring next!

The rules of the game make very little sense. The game was taken out of the oven too soon, and it shows. These guys need to learn how to playtest and how to write rules.

This is a push your luck co-op board game. It is similar in play to Quacks of Quindenlburg but it's not near as compelling. You basically walk around the board collecting tokens to the bag to draw from. You are trying to draw action tokens to be able to do more stuff but you can draw tokens that will move Leatherface closer to you as well as eventually release the other Sawyer family members (called Slaughter family in this game).This game is fine but not near as engaging or memorable as the other TCM game that just came out by Funko. I would recommend that one over this one but both are fun enough. The people I played both with didn't care much for this one but loved the other Funko game. So take that for what's it worth.Compenents are fine. Cardboard standees and tokens all around. You can buy plastic miniatures to replace the cardboard tokens for another $20. I say save your money unless you are a collector or TCM completist and want to pain them for your collection but the game isn't fun enough to invest that amount of money in, imo.
