This product works well and is a good value for the money. It did leak when I traveled with it which was not expected.

This is a effective as any topical acne treatment I have found, approximately equal to clindamycin gel. The gel substrate, of course, ensures that the salicylic acid remains on and in the skin after it dries, so it is more effective than cleansers. I wish Amazon sold larger tubes though. .75 oz of gel does not last very long when used over a large area.

This product seems a bit watered down for a salicylic acid gel. I can use it all over my face without any dryness or redness. Maybe that's a plus? But it takes multiple days of use to zap pimples. It's very runny as well, making me wonder if there are extra ingredients in it that are diluting the salicylic acid. Don't think I'll purchase it again.

This was one of the most frustrating products I've ever used for skincare. While the gel worked fine as far as I could tell, it was infuriating hard to dispense anything other than a huge glob of product onto my fingertip. No matter how gently I attempted, far more would come out than I wanted.Needless to say, I went through the tube far more quickly than I would have otherwise. I'm not saying Amazon Basics designed the tube this way on purpose to get you to return more often to buy it again... but in this day and age, I wouldn't put it past them.So unless you really need to have larger doses of salicylic acid, skip this and pay extra for another brand. You'll at least save yourself some frustration.
