Great Soap
This soap doesn't have much of a smell (makes sense because it's fragrance free). It is good quality with not too much effect on the skin minimising the buckets of moisturiser you may need for other soaps.

Not really kojic soap
Doesn't work like kojic soap leaves skin kinda greasy which kojic definitely does not

It's to lather
I like the scent I took the vanilla . I use it on my body and only have been using it a week so have not seen any changes yet. I got 3 normal size bar in the pack. Value for the money however if it works too early to say.

Not For Me
This was terrible to lather and didn’t leave my skin feeling clean at all. I gave it away.

Gentle and fragrance-free
Firstly, the fragrance-free formula was a major plus for me. Many soaps on the market tend to have overpowering scents that can irritate sensitive skin, but this soap is refreshingly free from any artificial fragrances. It leaves behind a mild, clean scent that is barely noticeable, making it suitable for individuals with fragrance sensitivities. The key ingredient, kojic acid, is renowned for its skin-lightening properties, which was particularly appealing to me. I was pleased to see visible improvements in my hyperpigmentation and dark spots after just a few weeks of consistent use. My skin looked brighter and more even-toned, giving me a boost of confidence. What sets this soap apart is its gentle nature. Despite containing kojic acid, known for its exfoliating properties, it doesn't strip the skin of its natural oils or cause excessive dryness. This was a game-changer for me, as I've often struggled with dry skin when using similar products. Instead, the soap leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and supple, without any tightness or discomfort. The 3-pack option is convenient and cost-effective, ensuring that I always have a backup when one bar runs out. Each bar lasts a decent amount of time, even with daily use, making it a good investment for long-term skincare. One thing to note is that, like most skin-lightening products, it's important to use sunscreen alongside this soap to protect your skin from sun damage. Kojic acid can increase skin sensitivity to the sun, so it's crucial to incorporate sun protection into your routine for optimal results.Overall, the Kojic Acid Soap (3 pack) - Fragrance Free - has become an essential part of my skincare routine. Its ability to effectively combat hyperpigmentation while being gentle and fragrance-free makes it a standout product. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable solution to achieve a more even skin tone, I can recommend giving this soap a try.

All-in-one Body Serum?
These big block bars have that rustic, handmade look and feel to them. I don't think they are actually handmade but you wouldn't know it.A lot of the ingredients in these are what you get in decent face serums, Hyaluronic Acid and Retinol being the "must have" ingredients for a daily face serum. So, that's a good thing. Face serums work if you continue to keep using them for about two months and this should too. It's a very all-in-one solution to skin care really. They've packed every proven ingredient into a single bar, except Salicylic Acid which is understandable since that's dodgy for some people. Whether or not everything works for you personally, you'll know you've got it all covered. The smell of these isn't strong and that's why it's loses a star for me. It doesn't really smell of vanilla, it's just kind of floral and really mild. Not unpleasant by any means but when you order vanilla you expect vanilla. It kind of creams instead of foaming when you lather it up. It applies well, rinses off well and doesn't disintegrate into nothing instantly. I felt well cleaned and soft afterwards. They get VERY slippery though so leaving one on the rim of the bath isn't really an option without a holder or sponge to put it on, it'll just slide right back in.The value here is quite good if you consider the size of each bar. They are 140g each and most "premium" bars like this with all the extra ingredients are 60-80g.

I'm willing to try anything.
I've never heard of kojic acid before, turns out it's a derivative of several fungi, most commonly Aspergillus oryzae which has the name 'koji' in Japanese and it's used to combat skin hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage, age spots or inflammatory conditions. Well I'm in my 60s, had inflammatory conditions and am probably sun damaged, so this sounds right up my street. This makes all the usual promises - all natural, paraben free, fragrance free, non-gmo, not tested on animals, made with essential oils and the packaging is recyclable (though it did come in a cellophane wrapper). What it DOES contain is hyaluronic acid (everything seems to at the moment), retinol (vitamin A, another go to), vitamins C and E, collagen and turmeric. All these ingredients regularly appear in soaps, washes and creams that claim to assist with hyperpigmentation and inflammatory conditions. It also contains glycerin, cocoa butter, shea butter and olive oil - all pleasing things to see in any soapIt's too early to say if my skin is improved by this soap, though I very much hope it will be. I can say with confidence that it is fragrance free, and that at 140g per bar this is a full sized soap which seems hard enough that it won't disappear into a mush.At £9.99 for 3 x 140g bars (as at 19 August 2023) I think this is well priced. I've given it a four star rating at present, though I will revise this if there is either a marked improvement or no improvement in the condition of my skin.
