Only arrived today so not taken it through its paces yet but it seems a quality product. The images produced of my underfloor heating were excellent and the different camera modes are a nice touch.

I've wanted one of these things for years to enable me to debug Motherboards and quickly locate any hot spots. The price has always been to high for me to justify, and afford one, until now! This think works really well and has already enabled me to solve two issues on two different vintage computers. The battery still shows as full after several uses. The image is clear and easy to see what is going on. It even pinpoints hot spots for you. The laser for locating what you look at is very good once you figure out the angle to hold the device at. I use the laser for the cats to chase, and see how hot I can get them from running around after the laser! Haha :D All in all, a fantastic device at a very good price (I got my one for 150 quid after a discount). Rob :D

I got this to look for cold spots in my house and my sons. Both are a bit old and leaky heatwise. Did the job perfectly and allowed us to find a few expected heat leaks and several we would have missed without this piece of kit. Not the highest definition out there but perfectly adequate for finding cold and hot spots and spotting silted-up radiators. it has a good solid feel and USB charging. You can transfer screenshots to PC if required. Unable to determine accuracy of actual temperature measurement ut that's not really the point as its spotting difference in level that's its real strong point and the main reason you would want to use it.

Bought for checking insulation, radiators, circuit boards, overall... Worked well for me.... Good quality... (no sd card slot , cable connection for jpg photos)... Good for price, if I upgrade I would have no problem buying from this manufacture again

Too complicated for me. Wasn't sure it was working properly but that may have been that I didn't understand it. Had to send it back. No manual included: had to be downloaded.

After reading some of the reviews I was expecting this with a little caution! As it happens, straight out of the box fully charged and had a play. It has told me that the radiator fan does nothing but use up more energy (now in the bin). I have had a lot of fun for now and shall read up on the user manual (not supplied, you need to download pdf). As for its longevity only time will tell eh. It has also shown me my bad circulation, in lower legs. For now 5 ⭐️ as I have had a lot of fun. I hasten to add, only screen shots, no video and although good for DIY I doubt it is for a professional!?!?

This is a really impressive bit of kit for the price. You can easily pay ten times as much for a 'professional' version which is probably more accurate but for DIY/home use this is fine. It feels sturdy, with a rubberised plastic casing that doesn't look as if it would break if you dropped it, the display is clear if a bit on the small size, and there are numerous options in the menu for the display information and colours as well as other settings. The display will indicate a clear colour difference between temperatures as close as 1 degree C. I haven't been able to test its accuracy on any kind of reference object/temperature, but it seems close enough on things like body temperature. It has a substantial amount of internal storage for saved images (JPEGs) and these can be downloaded on to a PC etc with the supplied USB C cable. My only minor criticism is the supplied documentation, which is just a very basic quick-start guide. I had to go online to find full instructions.

Este aparato son de esos que dices. No lo necesito, pero podría hacer esto o aquello ... Puesto que estas cámaras térmicas no son dispositivos baratos y te lo piensas más de una vez. Pues yo estaba en esa tesitura. ¿Me lo compro o no me lo compro? Venga va! Que la vida son 2 días y me lo compre. Te cuento mi experiencia. Tengo bastantes aparatos y me dedico por hobby a la electrónica desde hace años. Y no podía faltar en mi tallercito una cámara térmica. Y bueno al final si que le he sacado utilidades. A una amiga conseguí decirle por donde perdía calor por sus ventanas, porque con la cámara puedes averiguar las zonas más frías y por ende por donde se esta escapando calor o lo que es lo mismo entrando frio. A un familiar pude decirle de donde procedía una humedad que le tenia loco... con la cámara puedes saber el lugar exacto. Y luego para mí personalmente me proporciona información sobre que zona en un circuito electrónico sufre más temperatura. Esto mismo lo puedes trasladar a un electrodoméstico que te da guerra. En el vehículo puedo saber cuando apago el motor como algo curioso en que zonas hay mucho más calor generado y quizás poder detectar una avería futura. Luego ya como juego, cuando después de la barbacoa puedo ver que zonas todavía están mas activas que otras. Ver en una habitación las partes más frías y más calientes. Poder ver la temperatura del aire que sale de un aparato de frio. Poder ver si en tu cuadro eléctrico esta sufriendo algún magnetotérmico más de la cuenta por sobrecarga. UN sin fin de cosas que bueno... quizás no son necesarias pero que a mi personalmente me aportan. Hablemos de la cámara: Esta Cámara térmica va de lujo. La marca es reconocida. Y el precio es fabuloso y mira que di vueltas a otras cámaras. Me permite capturar fotos para evaluar las imágenes detenidamente luego. Me gusto que el servicio técnico y su firmware sea de por vida. Yo sugiero, que te cojas la de puntero laser... es la única manera de poder saber donde estas tomando la medida, en casos en los que necesites un lugar muy concreto. El rango de temperatura de -20°C a 550°C es más que suficiente yo creo. Por sacar algo negativo que tampoco. Pudiera haber venido en un maletín como yo tengo algún otro multímetro o pinza amperimétrica. Pero bueno la caja en la que viene esta muy bien acolchada donde se acomoda la cámara de manera espectacular y donde puede estar muchos años. He intentado explicar como es mí experiencia personal con la cámara térmica. No se trata de explicarte que características tiene la cámara. Algo que cualquiera puede buscar fácilmente y no aportan nada. A mí me ha gustado, me va bien, va de lujo y dentro de los precios que hay en este tipo de dispositivos es realmente bueno. Sin duda, para mí es una inversión que vale la pena.

Needed a way to look at my home lab rack and which parts are heating without touching them and found this. It does it's job very well and the accuracy is within +-1 Degrees.
