probably not for most, ok for me
8/06/18 Update: This protector has saved my phone a crazy number of times so I upped my rating. I've dropped my phone multiple times screen side down from pocket height and the protector has taken all the damage. It's been roughly 5 months and there is a ton of damage (chipped corners and some cracks) from my own clumsiness. The oleophobic coating has worn off around the keyboard area but I'm constantly Swype texting so it makes sense.Update: I took a picture of my phone with the screen protector applied. Since it's an iPad picture the quality is terrible so I used yellow to show the amount of space from the protector to the screen and red to show the areas that the protector bubbled/will not stay down. Before getting a screen protector for this specific phone you need to decide what you want out of a protector. This is due to the fact that the OnePlus 5t isn't a model that many companies are making accessories for.I've had the official OnePlus 5t screen protector and I would consider that the best protector if you don't mind the price tag + shipping.I've also had a cheap protector off of Amazon which turned out to be terrible due to the fact that the adhesive was only along the edges and was not strong.I then got this one as it's from a reputable brand. This is a compromise between price and usability.Pros:The glass is thick and premium feeling. I think it might even feel better than OnePlus'Decent amount of cleaning supplies included and clear directions.Tabs on both ends of protector to help you align it correctly.Price is great and comes with 2 protectorsCons:Does not fit the whole screen. The protector just barely covers the screen that is lit up. Meaning the black border around the phone isn't covered if that makes sense. This is worrying to me scratch wise. Some areas around the perimeter of the protector will not stick down. My theory is that you must align the phone perfectly to avoid this. The 2 days didn't make a difference.Important to me: price and if it works decentlyNot important: how it looksIf you don't mind bubbles and less than full coverage get it. If you do mind those things and don't mind paying like 25 buckos for the OnePlus one get that. I don't think the cheap ones that are from random brands will be worth it.

Probably the best non-oneplus screen protector for the 5T
For around half the price of the $20 Tempered glass screen protector OnePlus offered on thier site, this is a pretty good buy! The shipping was fast, the packaging was good, and overall the screen protector is built well and the instructions are clear. My one minor complaint is that it's not easy to like up perfectly, even if you are off by 1mm along the sides the other side will have some bubbles. The bright side is that the bubbles completely disappear if the screen just on.Overall I would recommend, make sure u have a steady hand 😂

Does not adhere to the screen in several places.
Tried multiple times with the first in the 2 pack - sure I was doing something wrong. Moved on to the second case in the 2 pack (so I've got 1 for the price of 2). Still, the top right section, near the speaker, does not adhere to the phone and peels up, leaving space and a large visible air bubble. Visually unappealing and makes me worried about the safety of the phone. Same thing (bubbling up) happens along the sides, but is less noticeable.

Bad product, but amazing customer service
The product itself is really bad, the glass does not cover the screen entirely and does not stick on the sides (check photo).I tried using the 2 glasses that come with this product and the results were fairly similar. I have tried other Spigen glass products in the past and the results were amazing, very different from this one. When contacting Spigen support about this product they were very responsive and accepted a return even though the 2 glasses that come in this product were "used".

Make sure you know what you're buying
It is true that this won't cover the whole screen but it's good for cases that cover large parts of the the screen. The edges don't stick very well which is my biggest complaint. Protection is still very good. I'm not sure is this is Spigen since it isn't sold on thier website.

The best above all the "not so best" out there.
Update ~4/18/2018~I got my new order of Spigen screen protectors today and the LOCA (Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive). Supposedly this is the kind of stuff that is used on LCD, glass, digitizer assemblies; and depending on the mixture it can be super soft or super hard. This is also the same stuff used to apply Samsung curved screen tempered glass screen protectors. Anyway, I finally got the new screen protector on with NO dust (for the first time). yeah! All that's left is to fill the void left by the cuved phone glass (not the screen protector glass). I'll post some sort of minimal guide later but for now, I've uploaded images as proof, and with it come a warning. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. As always, please read previous updates. Here is the link to the LOCA I bought here at AMZN http://a.co/7eMdkkgUpdate ~4/17/2018~Hello everyone! I have some good news but it requires the purchase of additional products to make it 100% possible to get that perfect coverage we all wanted. The idea of this came from what I wrote about in my first impression review. Then wacky ideas started popping up. It led to me wondering what were people doing for their curved edge Samsung, and then further research gave me the solution we all need. Please wait a little longer while I double check my work.~Original Review~The OnePlus 5T is my first ever thin phone. With some cases being too thick and heavy, it really affects the whole point of getting the OnePlus. After the phone arrived, I decided that I need good protection for the screen because I wanted to use a slimmer case. So far, I've tried 4 different brands of glass screen protector, so I feel like I am most qualified here among the rest of the reviews to make a sound and fair rating.Due to the high price tag and the equal chance of screwing up and get dust or lint on the screen I went for the cheaper alternative and tried some glass screen protectors here on AMZN for the first time. In doing so, I have spent more money than what the official screen protector is worth but I learned a lot from the experience. My 4 star rating for the Spigen screen protector is from comparing to other 3rd party screen protector. It is unfair to say that a brand should have 1 or 2 star because of some misunderstanding of the product, or not reading provided notes, or even lack of experience. My first, is the bubble free glass screen protector. This is possible because they apply a clear plastic film that only has adhesive along the edges. They are the WORST! because the lack of adhesive allows the screen to move around; and because it's not stuck to the screen, it creates a weird wavy kind of effect. So this means that all border adhesive glass are TRASH.There are 3 that I've tried and I'll talk about the other two before getting to the Spigen screen protector. The ICHECKEY was the first I tried. It's a full adhesive glass protector, with black borders. It boasts about edge to edge protection but that is where the problem begins and it relates to all current aftermarket glass screen protector for this OnePlus. I see a lot of people here complaining about the screen lifting. The problem is that the glass on the phone curves down the side starting about 4~5mm in from the edge. As it curves down, it may not even be perfectly uniform. So all the screen protectors out there are not lifting, just not curving with the screen because they are all flat. (this, by-the-way, was explained by Spigen on a black piece of paper provided in the packaging.)SUPTMAX was another full adhesive screen protector I tried. It tried the same idea as Spigen by not adding black borders, instead they narrowed the screen protector. This is where a lot of reviewers got it wrong. The complaint is that it "doesn't fit the screen, or too small". The narrow width was suppose to be the solution for other bulky cases that encroaches the edge of the glass, and possibly and attempt to solve the issue of the so called "lifting" by narrowing the screen protector. to install the SUPTMAX and Spigen, I turned on my gmail app, and used the edges of the AMOLED screen (not the glass), to line up the screen protector. It is unfortunate, but it's still not away from the curved area. Now on to the Spigen! The reason I liked this screen protector better, is because the adhesive was stronger, and between this and SUPTMAX, this screen protector has less "lift", which is probably due to the better adhesive. What I liked about the Spigen was the hardness of the glass, it wasn't better than the ICHECKEY but was better than SUPTMAX. What I didn't like was their idea to cover the front facing camera. I rather they just not cover any of them and allow me to use a napkin to wipe the glass when I need to, and I won't need to worry about any possible distortion it will cause down the road.SPIGEN needs to read this! They have to add a thicker layer of clear adhesive that tapers out to the edge so that it forms with the glass and it's imperfections. That should solve the whole "lifting" but actually not issue. Oh, and dont cover the camera please.

Very Nice quality. As good as original.
It's a quality tempered glass screen protector. I am happy with the product. Initially was searching for original One plus tempered glass but unfortunately it wasn't available on the one plus website. My hubby had bought the spigen back covers many a times for our family. And we were very happy with the quality. So while searching for the tempered glass found Spigen luckily & the moment I saw it, I bought it. And this time also I was lucky. I would recommend this brand to everyone. 😊

Stick to making cases and not screen protectors spigen
Terrible no matter how meticulous I try to put the screen protector on there's small dust particles in-between. The screen protector just covers the screen. Cool that they give you two but don't think of even getting a small bit of dust on it or your screwed. Wasted 15 bucks on this, should've just bought a lottery ticket.

Very much let down by this product.
I carefully centered this protector on my screen and the result was a perfectly even amount of the perimeter that would not stick down to the screen.Waste of money.

Disappointed!
The glass has a very nice feel to it, but the edges doesn't stick to the surface because of the curved screen on the oneplus. Even though the package contains disclaimer of thus issue but the product fels like a half-hearted effort and shouldn't be soldlike this.
