This is the perfect pet carrier for a larger cat/small dog. Very affordable and looks like it is well built!

One of my cats is 11.5 pounds, a big girl. She fits in this carrier easily. It has many ways to open it and I really like that feature. It also has two types of straps for carrying it. I started out using the handheld handles, but now I find that the shoulder strap is much more convenient. There is also a pocket to put notes and miscellaneous items.

My mom recently moved to my area to be closer to me. She wanted to bring her cat, and of course, I wanted that too since my mom was having a significant change in her life. Since my mom flew, I wanted a good cat carrier for her 15 lbs fur ball.My mom was very pleased with this. Sturdy yet light enough for her, and it fit under the airline seat (United). The cat seemed to be comfortable enough in it, all things considered.When my mom arrived, I was impressed at how well this handled the journey, and my mom's cat is jow happily with us here.

I bought this because I was flying two states away to pick up my new puppy. She’s under 15lbs and could barely fit in it. If it wasn’t soft it wouldn’t have fit underneath the seat in front of me. And the piece on the bottom of the bag that they lay on isn’t secured in any way, so it was all over the place. I’ve had a lot of soft crates and this one is awful! When we got home from the airport, I took her out of the crate and left it in my car because it’s going right to the dumpster!
