This is a great light. You can use it anywhere and has different light settings for different purposes. Perfect for a desk ,perfect for a night light and anything in between.

This lamp is the perfect size for a night light. Very easy to use and so many options for the settings. It is a great transition to a 'grown up' lamp for my child's room and it match the bigger lamp from the sample brand. I love the sleek, silver finish anfld clean lines. Great price and very innovative touch -operated panel!

My old fluorescent tube lamp gave up the ghost and I selected the LEPOWER-TEC LED Desk Lamp as a replacement I was leery though, of how stable it would be. The base weight, to my surprise, was quite hefty compared to what it had to support (the gooseneck and LED fixture). I have the base sitting on the edge of our island bar and just a gentle bend in the gooseneck to make the LED fixture sit parallel to the floor and overhang just enough to be right above and just off to the right of my head when I'm seated in my recliner. The lamp is very stable used like this.** Keep in mind though, I was NOT trying to see what the limits of the gooseneck extension could be and still have the base support its weight.I also was surprised by the brightness and throw of the LED panel. It far exceeds what I had been accustomed to with my old lamp. The dimming slide is very responsive and can be dimmed from full intensity to a nightlight setting but NOT OFF!Because this is a touch sensitive control base, you need to see where you are putting your fingers to control things like the tone of the light or even turning it off and on!. In my case, I can't place my base where I can see it from my seated position but I can reach it and touch it blindly with my right hand.Fortunately, the "nightlight" control is an actual button, and you can also feel a groove for the vertical slide location controlling the brightness as well. This lets me turn it off and on by feeling the nightlight button and clicking it 'on' and then clicking the button a second time to turn the lamp 'off'. Then to turn it on, I just click the nightlight button 'on' and then run my finger up and down the vertical brightness groove to the desired setting and let it go. No need to see the pane for the basics!Overall this lamp is better than I was anticipating and I would recommend this as a good purchase especially for a desktop application.

The light from the lamp and the many adjustment make it a great lamp. My only ding is the stiffness of the goose neck. I wanted to aim the lamp at the wall and it was difficult to twist that way, although I am happy with my resulting angle. I suppose if they made the neck any more flexible it might be less sturdy.

Very useful lamp, I love the low light setting.
