Marcy Classic 2" Cast Iron Olympic Grip Plates for Strength Training and Weightlifting

I'd definitely buy these again. I bought 6 of these 2.5lbs weights. They were accurate: All six 2.5lbs plates were each within 0.04lbs of stated weight (2.51lbs, 2.48lbs...). The casting was smooth, paint was good and the hole size fit the same on my 3 Olympic style bars as my older Marcy, VTX, and Standard Barbel plates. The outer plate diameter was equivalent to my other Olympic 2.5lbs weights.For reference, I measured my existing four Standard Barbel 2.5lbs weights. Those all measured 2.10lbs! WTF? Now I'm afraid to weigh my heavier Standard Barbel weights.Spend a little extra and get something you'll be happy with long term

I am using this weight differently than intended. I am not putting it on a barbell. I am using it more like a variation of a kettle bell to do wrist work. So, the large openings near the rim are very useful for gripping the weight. It works very well for what I had in mind.

Grip holes fit all 4 fingers comfortably, which I didn't realize mattered so much until I got a few plates with more narrow grip holes. Highly recommended for using as individual plates for some free-form exercising. The bigger hole size matters even more when stacking a couple together with zip ties, making for a heavier load.

Good bang for your buck. Use them daily.

It's a weight plate. Hard to go wrong with this one

The weights have been great! I am building my home gym and this Olympic style plate has really increased my flexibility and strength!
