My Bird Cage
I bought this cage for my parakeet I purchased over a year ago. I have never owned a bird before so I didn't know what to look for. As it turns out, this is a perfect cage for my bird, Teddy! We have plenty of room to hang toys for him to play with but more importantly it is easy to clean! The tray below slides out easily for periodic cleaning, plus it is easy to remove everything for a thorough soap and water cleaning! It has 3 sliding doors and 1 large "barn door". I highly recommend this bird cage!

4 stars due to thin wire otherwise 5 stars.
What is the photo function's problem today?? I give up! The pictures loaded wrong 3 times.I needed a cage with a large front door for small birds and no wider than 1/2" spacing between the bars. This is the only cage I found which works. As mentioned the wire bars are not very heavy and can bend if your trying to fit seed cups in between them. That said I am satisfied with the cage after addressing the manufacturing error. The long loose bar provided is the "lock" for this big front door. I simply drilled a hole through the plastic bottom lip to allow this bar to pass through/drop down which lets the top part to rest in the correct position and lock. See picture. The one issue which can't be resolved is in the design; if you have a seed cup in the front right small door you can not open the large door. The seed cup hangs down too low and prevents it. It would make much more sense if the second seed cup door was positioned on the side of the cage.I use embroidery clips (purchased here) "Embroidex sewing quilting Craft Clips" to secure the doors on my 1/2" cage, but they are to wide for this 3/8" spaced cage. I used a large wood/metal file to make them narrow enough to fit between the bars.Lastly I used small zip ties on each of the 6 locking tabs where the top fits to the body of the cage. While it seemed secure, this is a small precaution to take as I hang my cages at night in a quiet & darken room for the birds to get enough rest.If the manufacturer pre drilled the hole, moved the seed cup location off of the large door and used heavier/thicker wire they could charge double for this cage. It would be worth it.The seller sent it quickly, it was securely packed, all parts were included and nothing was damaged. Thank you.

Perfect for Birds!
I got this the other day..so easy to put together! I put a platform in for my birds large dish and I changed the perches. This is the cage I use to take my bird to the vet and outside to eat with us at sunset. I think this is a great buy, and I bought it because the whole front swings open. I'm using it for a Pionus..but it would be great for a Tiel, but not full time. I think of this as a travel type cage. Update...This is an awesome cage! Works well, the bars are not flimsy and I would buy again! Very happy with this cage, made so well!!!!

BIT SHAKEY BUT OKAY
I just put this cage and stand together. The stand has no instructions and took me 45 minutes to figure it out but it seems sturdy. The cage is a basic wire cage and unfortunately mine came slightly bent so it took some adjusting to fit together. There is also no platform for the cage to sit on it just sits in side the frame of the stand so I've already found out it's easy to topple over when rolling the stand-I suggest using twistie ties to anchor to the stand frame. Over all it would cost more at a local pet store so I'll see how it does. The stand should have instructions to it and the frame has many more holes in it for screws so it's a guessing game. Fit the wire storage bottom first before trying to piece it all.

LOVED the first one I bought two years ago. The second one I just received is not up to par.
I am so happy with the first cage I bought like this. But this second one, is not what I hoped for. The way you have to open the door is a big inconvenience. The seller only sent me one perch....and the product details specifically stated two!! Very aggravated.-Disappointed :(

This was the perfect size cage for one bird
This was the perfect size cage for one bird. I like to move the cage around and needed it to be big enough for small bird but light enough for me to move to screened porch for some sunlight. Previous cage too big, didn't want wheels. Relatively easy to clean. Let's face it, cleaning is usually a struggle but this has more accessibility than most for cleaning. I used previous cage seed and water cups. Would absolutely buy again if needed.

Poor Quality Cage
Extremely cheaply built cage. The perches were not usable as they had cracks and not sanded well. The cage does not line up for assembly and zip ties will need to be used to hold top of cage otherwise it could pull apart when carrying.I would have returned, but we accidentally through shipping box away. Will just sell it in Garage sale.

Nice and as described
Overall the best available for this size and color cage for budgies, based on my extensive research. The design is attractive and the black color shows off the birds' color well; not a fan of the pastel-colored cages. I was looking to replace my budgies' 20-year-old cages, which were lovely but becoming ever harder to keep clean, with missing paint and pitted plastic base due to years of cleaning. This cage appears to be from the same maker, or at least very similar in appearance and size. The quality overall is, however, a bit flimsier than the older cages, and the bottom tray is definitely lighter weight and not chrome, but painted like the side panels (which means it will be harder to scrub well and keep clean). The spaces between bars are generally 3/8-inch, but where the sides attach to front and back, the gap is a bit bigger, 1/2 inch. It should be okay for budgies, but I wouldn't trust it for a smaller bird such as a finch. Note that the bars on the side panels run horizontally, meaning some of my previous fancy perches won't attach on a diagonal, as they did with vertical bars. The large opening panel on the front should prove a good feature for cleaning, but beware: Yesterday Lemondrop escaped while I had the panel open (his flight muscles aren't too strong, so I was able to capture him pretty quickly). Overall, I am fairly happy with the cage, and feel there is nothing of better quailty available out there for budgies, in this color and size.
