Scratch Doctor Complete Leather Repair Kit Patch, Fill, Repair & Recolour Scratches, Tears, Holes in Leather Furniture, Sofas, Car Seats (Red)

Product proved perfect, not having done anything like this repair previously, instructions read carefully, application of materials supplied and development of a compression system on the seat side wall allowed the leather internal patch to weld perfectly such that no trimming was required on the pair of splits in the side panel, closest to the door. 24 hrs later, dismantling the compression assembly the underside patch has held perfectly. The infilling "putty" was virtually unnecessary, used more in the creases in close proximity. The black dye has blended perfectly with the gloss finish of the original leather. Excellent product, now have ample spare if the same problem arises elsewhere.

For the short term this is excellent for repairs - does require a great deal of patience if tackling kitty scratches - but worth the effort. Have not had in place long enough to know how it fares long term.Could do with doubling up on the gloss and matt finishing liquids in this- so be careful with how much is used.Watched you-tube demo before purchasing - that convinced me.On first opening the package was very confused with all the primary colours, and rather daunted with the amount of things in it - but everything in this package is needed!Well packaged, and instructions are clear - but strongly recommend watching online demonstration before tackling

Took some time to do and not perfect but great product... seems to be holding up so far... read that the cracking on the drivers chair of our BMW X5 is a common fault but hardly noticeable now ...thank you

seems to be working ok, only got it yesterday. Very difficult to get a true colour match as I have now mixed a few pots and still will not blend in completely. Still hopefully it'll be better than the cracks I had. Not tested whether it stays on when sat on. Suck it and see.

Worked 100% on my car seat. Just follow the instructions and you get what you expected. I am very satisfied with the results. My car seats are black so it was not difficult to match the colour. Only the matt or shine finish needed a little adjustment. I did that by mixing the matt and shine 50/50 et voilá! Perfect! I also used one hair dryer to speed up a little. I strongly recommend this product. I don't know how long this will last, time will tell. But for now 👍👍

Really good instructions and you have everything you need to patch and repair your leather goods

The black leather driver seat of my BMW had a small split and rather than pay out hundreds of £ on a new seat cover and/or complete seat I thought I'd give this product a try. It's surprisingly effective when used exactly as per the instructions. I guess the key thing is not to rush it particularly when using the filling compound. I applied 5 thin layers in the residual split after glueing the leather to the backing piece and waited 30-45 minutes between each layer for it to completely cure. The final layer cured for two hours and having now been stained the split is virtually invisible. I'm surprised & delighted by this excellent result.
