Tastes unpleasant
I got this for my mum, as we have noticed that her cognitive function isn’t very good (she is almost 80), and she didn’t seem to have much energy. These symptoms seemed to come on after she had a hip replacement just before Covid, she seemed to struggle with her recovery. She has now been taking shilajit, (and lions mane) for about 3 months, this is a different brand to the one she started with. Within a couple of weeks we started to notice that she had more focus and was starting to do puzzles again, and after these 3 months we definitely have seen improvements with her energy and focus. Taking this brand hasn’t changed the improvement we have been seeing so things a seem to be continuing.I did a lot of research prior to her commencing on this, obviously it’s different for everyone and what helps one person may not help others, but we are happy with how things are going and will continue to take this supplement.The only downside to this is the taste and smell, it is like treacle thick and sticky with a pungent odour. The jar comes with a small spoon and you just need a pea sized amount. We have found that it mixes and dissolves better in hot water, and we also mix in a small amount of honey which definitely helps.Overall this seems to be a good product and appears to be helping us.

A bit too runny and sweet - No adverse side effects
This resin has a much more runny viscosity and sweetness than other shilajit resins I have tried. It may be the natural taste or it could have fillers, it's not clear. However, it definitely has more water content than usual, which dilutes it and makes it less concentrated.I haven't noticed any adverse side effects since supplementation or any particular benefits either
