Gilbow snips
Just bought two pairs of Gilbow snips numbers G69 and G67 I have been a sheet metal worker for 46 years so I have bought many pairs of Gilbow snips over the years,and generally they have been very good, this last two pairs are absolute rubbish so bad one of the pairs snapped across where the bolt goes through, look like they have been made in a garden shed, I dont know where to buy decent snips any more

Gilbows are the best
Gilbows are the choice of the professional sheet metal worker and have been for many years.This particular type will allow you to cut straight and around fairly tight corners too with practice. You could get the shears type if you just want to do straight lines - I think they're cheaper.They last a very long time indeed - I still have the same pair I got as a 16 year old apprentice, some 25 years ago! That's a lot of cutting.
