I got this for my husband. He absolutely loves it. The only time it's not in his pocket is when he's asleep. I like it because he hasn't broken it yet. The clear cover means he doesn't have to open the case to see the time. The numbers are easy to read for my low vision hubby and totally awesome is the fact that it's a mechanical watch not battery operated - very hard to find these days. Oh, and of course, it's analog not digital! It's well made and a really good value. My hubby says he'll be getting pocket watches from now on.

A little smaller than other pocket watches I have. I don't wear a wrist watch because my profession doesn't allow jewelry as a safety hazard. So I have a pocket watch that I sit on my desk in front of me for a time piece. My last one finally gave it up, so I wanted something hand wind and mechanical that I didn't have to constantly change the battery in. This one looks fine. The chain is ok, but I don't use it, since it just sits in one place. Haven't had it but a few days. First day, I sat the time and wound the spring fifteen times. I noticed that the spring seemed a little delicate and loose, so I didn't want to overwind it. It ran from 8:00 pm until a little after 4:00 am the next morning or just over 8 hours. The next morning I wound it 15 times again at 8: 00 am and it stopped again at 2:38 pm running for 6 hrs 38 mins. I have reset it this time at 5:00 pm having wound it 20 times. If it does not run at least 12 hours, I am returning it. You should not have to wind a watch twice a day.

I’ve had a little over a year and it’s still going strong. Bought a second one for the kid because they were jealous. No problems with that one either. When fully wound, it’ll keep time for about 30 hours. Just get into the habit of winding it before you go to sleep and you’ll always be on time!

I am very pleased with my purchase of this watch. The price is reasonable, the watch is mechanical so I don't have to worry about stopping it with my magnetic field and the watch itself is quite handsome in appearance.

When I first got the watch and wound it the required times it was keeping time to fast. It was gaining about 7-8 minutes an hour. I let it run down and only wound it half as many times. Watch was still running fast. I let it run down again, then wound it ten times and have done so every day and it is keeping time very good!
