4:3 NOT 16:9 Aspect Ratio
This is an ‘old school’ type projector with 4:3 aspect ratio not HD 16:9. I bought this particularly for that reason. I project onto essentially a square wall and I wanted complete floor to ceiling, wall to wall coverage for immersive effect. The short throw feature means a bigger picture with fairly close proximity placement to the screen. It’s super bright too. Probably good for watching old TV shows.

Good for a Cheap Simulator Build
Using it for a golf simulator in a reasonably dark pole barn and it works great. Definitely the most cost effective option out there for a new one. Doesn't like lights directly shined into the projection area, but for a budget solution it's perfect for my use.

Does not project properly
Doesn’t project on house like it says it does. Even after adjustments it only does a square version. It does not project onto a house the way it says it can.

Good and bad
Let's start with the good. This is a good projector for many things. I think for basic projection, displays, meetings, lectures, in a controlled environment, very good. This is a very close projector and requires very little distance between it and the screen. You can get a very large display with very little distance and it works well. The picture is clear, focus is excellent and most of the automated features work well. It is bright enough to see even in a room lit by lamps but I wouldn't try it in a sunlit room. The darker the environment the better. There is a wide variety of inputs so you can use almost any video source you like. It is small, reasonably lightweight and compact. All cables can be disconnected so if you got a small storage bag or box, it would be very portable. Now for the bad. The menu is a little difficult to navigate and although you can get to all parts of the menu without the remote control it is not easy. It is a bit noisy, there is a fan that has to run to cool the bulb and that fan is not very quiet. The noise is enough that it can be distracting. The design is such that the projector really works best if it is at the same height as the bottom or top of the screen you are using. If you try to put it more toward the middle top to bottom, you can adjust the picture but it doesn't really work very well. I tried rear projection and it does work but it's not as effective, there tends to be a bright spot in the screen where the projector is located. All in all. I think it's a good value for the money, the picture quality is good for what it is and in most cases for most uses it will get the job done. I would say that for home use where space is limited, it could be a good projector for video but probably not so good for gaming. For use as a display for lectures or presentations, it would be adequate and would give good color and graphics if used with a good screen or white wall.

Great projector
Love this projector. Used it at a wedding reception. And now it's my gaming screen in the family room. The short throw gives me a 120 inch wide screen at 5 feet away. Clear and Bright.

If it is not for a ceiling mount you are going to need something shirt to set it on.
So far it works great, but it did take me almost an hour to flip the display as it came from the factory set for ceiling mount. I will still have to buy an adjustable table as the projector fills a 4-foot-tall screen that is about 3 foot off the floor while sitting on a 16 inch chair.
