Excellent for Small Space and Features for My Home Theater
I was looking for a small UPS to put into my home theater cabinet to ensure the ethernet switch (9V) and Access point (12V) remain powered if a power outage occurs. Every time they go down, all my smart switches and other devices have to re-negotiate for a new IP address and sometimes they all don't connect properly when power returns. I did not have room for a standard size UPS and this was a problemm. The SKE MiniDCUPS unit fits a small space, and it can keep both the access point and switch on, but also keeps the power on for a LED strip I have around the ceiling of the room to provide ambient lighting. Since my LED strip lighting takes 24VDC, I could not use the 2nd 12VDC output from the MinDCUPS, but because this unit also has a USB port, I used a 5V to 24V booster to get the voltage up to 24V. It works perfectly, and if a power outage occurs, I've got light in the room. I tested this under these 3 loads, and I got over 4 hours on the UPS power from this small unit. It has a 10400mah battery, which translates into 38.4Wh (using standard 3.7 Lithium-ion cells). That is more than sufficient for any temporary power outage. No other miniUPS has all these outputs and even better, it has the AC charger built-into it which makes it easier to connect to AC without another adapter. This was great and makes it the best choice out there now. I also gave it 5 stars because the SKE customer service is very responsive and has provided me with answers the very next day and are very customer oriented.Of course, not all is perfect, and there are a few minor issues on this unit, and I hope that SKE will address these in future models:1) It only comes with a single 5.5mm x 2.5mm Y cable because the 9V and 12V use the slighly larger inner dimension on the connector. Many routers and switches use 5.5mm x 2.1mm plugs, so I had to buy a converter and make my own 5.5x2.1mm male to male plug cables. Since there are 3 outputs (beside the USB), they should include at least three 5.5mm x 2.1 to 5.5mm x 2.5mm adapters or male cables, along with the one they have to handle most situations.2) There is no audible beep when main power goes off and goes to battery power. This is important to know, although it has a LED on top for Battery On, you can't keep looking to see if it lost power. And if the battery gets below 25%, it should start beeping rapidly.3) Although minor, the Battery indicator LEDS reads left to right as 100, 75, 50, 25%. Most devices that have a meter would have it in the reverse order with 25 on the left and 100 on the right. And as batter goes down, the leds go off right to left. If you hang the unit vertically, then it would make sense. All in all, it's a good unit and very happy with it. I highly recommend it.

Works well.
I connected it to my new home router and my other system. Never had a power outage but once it was installed a day later freak thunder shut power off to my house for a second. The battery kicked in and did its job. Must have been destiny I but a power backup. I have a surge protector connected to the wall outlet. Battery backup connected to surge protector. What would be cool is if I could buy another and connect it to it to have more power.

Works good
This UPS is really good. I’ve been using it for a while, and the battery is incredible—it lasts over 6 hours with just a router connected. If you have power issues, I highly recommend this UPS because it works wonderfully.

Fantastic alternative to a traditional UPS
I recently transitioned to an N100-based fanless mini server for my home use and I'm very happy with the results. My old server was a large traditional desktop, which was also fantastic, but was overkill and idled around 60-70w. It also required a traditional 120vac UPS. The new machine uses a 12v barrel plug. It occurred to me that this old UPS was also overkill for this new solution. I decided to look for a UPS that outputs DC and came across this. The price was right so I decided to try it out.Man, you would think this little battery was built for my solution exactly. It works perfectly. Plugs right in with no issue, AND it also powers my large external disk (which also takes 12v input). Once everything was booted up, I unplugged it from the wall and it made a little chime to indicate it was running on battery, and it ran for quite a while (maybe 30 minutes?) before the battery indicator light dropped from 100% to 75%. Fantastic. It's smaller, lighter, cheaper, and works for way longer than a traditional UPS for this particular setup. Just what I was looking for.My only complaint, vs the old UPS, is the old UPS had a USB connection that I could plug into the PC. When I did this, the UPS showed up as a battery, and when the power went off, the machine would know it was unplugged and could monitor how much battery was remaining, so I could set Windows to shut down automatically when it got down to a certain level, like 30%. This new setup doesn't have this, so I don't have a way to have the machine shut down gracefully if the batteries start running low. But, given that I can probably run for several hours on this new setup on battery, I'm not super concerned. Still, it would be nice.Overall, highly recommended for the price over a traditional UPS if this fits your very specific needs.

will not work with the xfinity gig router
This is a really nicely built little ups. I just wanted to leave some information trying to save someone time. This device comes with multiple power outlet plugs. The issue why I had to return it is because non of them fit into white tower xfinity gig router. I honestly was surprised it do not come with a 110 outlet on it.

A great tiny UPS for SOHO devices
PERFECT for small devices. Cords are short tho, consider a longer C8 cord

Reliable power for ONT fiber converter.
I needed a way to provide reliable battery backup for my AT&T ONT fiber converter and this works great. I was using a regular desktop 120v UPS to power it but kept having issues with the UPS itself. Going direct from battery to 12v is working great the adapters fit the converter and provides power with no issues.
