This is a decent product that has some key electrolytes without the unneeded fluff but it lacks calcium which is a key electrolyte. It's also low in sodium which is the most crucial electrolyte lost from sweat during exercise. You need about 500mg of sodium replenished per hour of exercise but this only has 125 per serving so you would have to take 4 servings of this to meet the requirement. If you bought the 8 oz bottle, it would give you 24 servings.The recommended dosage for electrolyte replenishment for a 170lb male after a 1-hour strenuous exercise is 500mg for sodium, 200mg for potassium, 100mg for magnesium, and 150mg for calcium. My post-workout shake consists of 1 cup of water, 1 cup of calcium-fortified orange juice, and 1 scoop of whey protein. I get 130mg of sodium, 140mg of calcium, and 150mg of potassium from the whey. Orange juice has 450mg of potassium, 20mg of magnesium, and 350mg of calcium. So in my case, I have to add 3 servings to meet the recommended intake. If you follow the manufacturer's guidelines then you won't taste any saltiness at all. However, if you were to add it in an amount sufficient to meet the recommended daily intake values, it does add a slight salty taste to your drink. I don't mind it though because it's not overly salty.

I was concerned with it changing the taste of my water too much and I’m glad to say it doesn’t! I consider myself sensitive to taste changes, smell changes, etc., and I can barely taste the difference. The microscopic difference is actually quite pleasant.

i must say i didn't expect for the drops to have much benefit, but i was sooooooooo wrong, i put a half teaspoon of this in a 33 ounce of water and drunk about 1/3 of it, i don't know how to explain it other than i wasn't as tired when i got threw working out at the normal pace i would be tiredi also have high blood pressure and i usually can tell when its going up, i noticed after drinking and taking my bp meds i felt "normal" a lot quicker than it would take just for my bp meds to work and yes i attribute it to this productwhen i got up this morning this was the first thing i introduced into my system, it was suggested to drink this before drinking anything else in the am, and i must say i feel pretty good right nowi got this package for free but i definitely will be ordering some of this product, chloride suppose to help regulate certain body fluids like potassium for one, which can also help lower your blood pressurei read that you can get this from a lot of processed foods and we know that those foods are not good for us and fattening so i would rather add this to my liquid and drink itim usually dragging in the morning, looking forward to seeing how i feel after consistenly drinking this daily for a week or two, it does change the taste of your water so i want be putting it in the normal water that i drink, only putting in a bottle water designated just for this purpose, its not bad but it makes the water thick and has a sweet taste but in a different way so the water don't taste so much sweet, its just hard to describe, my water was room temp, i think it would taste better in colder watereither way i don't care about the taste that much if its going to help my over health glad i tried this.UPDATE 10-12-23 THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE PUT IN A BETTER BOTTLE SO THAT IT WANT LEAK, it does say to keep the bottle upright but sometimes things do tilt over, you waste money when you lose product from it seeping out of the bottle top, why not put it in a doppler bottle or a bottle that squirts the solution out? i carry this back and forth to work with me and i have to always remember to keep it up right in my work bag,

I'm a person who sweats heavily very quickly, and I like in southeast Texas- I need to consume extra electrolytes even just walking around in my own yard during the summer. I don't like drinking excess sugar, and I absolutely cannot and will not consume sugar replacements of any kind- finding electrolyte liquids without sweetener or flavoring is rare, but quite welcome!This liquid mixes easily with water and doesn't taste as forwardly salty as other electrolyte supplements that I've used. The taste is pleasantly mineral-like, and it is very refreshing with just water alone and no added flavorings of my own.
