I bought this to use primarily for slicing gammon joints for sandwich ham, and for this the sharp blade works great, then when I saw it came with a serrated blade I dusted off the old bread maker and set it going, now I use it daily for bread, and its perfect! takes no time at all and I get even, consistent slices every time, I've taken to cleaning it by turning the unit on and holding the cloth to it, then the other side and repeat for drying, that way I never risk washing the grease off of the mechanism or cutting my cloths up on the sharp blade. the suction pads are a great way of keeping it steady and the plastic guard keeps fingers away from the business end!

Does exactly what its meant to do...slice meats. I've only tried it on cooked meats, and its great. I have two blades but i couldn't figure how we are meant to select the correct blade. I tried both and they both work on cooked ham and beef. Regarding cleaning, it wipes down easily enough but little pieces of meat can get embedded in the crevices and its not possible to pull it all apart. Still delighted with it and would recommended it. It has a great price point for an effective home tool if you want to cook your own meats and serve thinly sliced, rather than what is possible with a knife.

The machine is well built and cut through frozen meat easily. I defrost ed the meat for 1 minute, the result was perfect. I can now enjoy hotpot at home.

I like most of the design but it definitely needs fewer gaps and takes up a fair amount of counter space. The slow speed is great if you’ve never used a slicer before and I think the slope should be on the back where the cut product actually comes out to. Have now used it to slice up 3 cooked joints of meat, a pork leg, beef and a honey mustard roast gammon. Didn’t think the instructions were very clear, there’s more information on the listing here than the 4 page booklet that comes with it. I used the serrated blade as that was already fitted, it did tear off lots of little bits from the pork and beef joints, but the gammon was absolutely perfect. My roast dinners and sandwiches are definitely elevated! Very simple to use but if you push too hard with the plastic hand guard the metal will move out slightly causing thicker slices. Cleaning isn’t very easy due to the previously mentioned gaps that allow little bits of meat and mustard seeds etc to hide but with care and attention you can get there eventually.

Very good quality and great value for the money cuts my cooked meat perfectly and cheese and bread etc easily cleaned and less waste it really makes my life so much easier and very safe it cuts as thin or thick as you like very quickly 😊 would definitely recommend this 👍🏻
