Having been diagnosed with high blood pressure I like to keep a daily record to give to the practice nurse when I go for a checkup as my readings can be high at the surgery due to 'white coat syndrome'I have found this to be as accurate as my old, basic, monitor and has a bonus feature of irregular heart beat indication. If anything, it has more features than I need (multiple user displays and loads of memories) but I should not complain as such things would be good for a family - I just don't need them as a single user.I would however agree with some reviews that the arm cuff is a bit big. I can only just get a good fit around my rather skinny arm. Definitely designed for the bigger person! Also, the air tube from the cuff to the unit could do to be a tad longer. Battery life (4xAA) is good and it comes with a set which is nice and means it can be used straight from the box. The manual is easy to read and understand with good guidance on how to use it and interpret the readings.Overall and apart from these few - minor and personal - niggles I think this is a great monitor and excellent value for money. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I wanted a Blood pressure monitor to calibrate my Samsung smart watch. After looking at "ValidateBP"'s website to find a well priced and approved monitor, i decided on this one. I also had a hard time finding a cuff that was the right size as I needed an XL. So MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE YOUR ARM CIRCUMFERENCE FIRST. I would also recommend the XL Cuff if you have multiple people in your household that may use the device. Both me and my partner can use this cuff despite our arms being very different circumferences.The build quality is great and I was fairly shocked for this price point. I have taken multiple readings and they have all been consistent.I'm glad I made this purchase and I would highly recommend.

The BP monitoring is a convenient and easy to use product. It worked right out of the box, and good to have for BP monitoring. It came in handy already when we had some problem in our family members with dizziness. One thing is just after between 10 times of usage the battery seems to be depleted from the battery icon, although there is no low battery warning. Nonetheless it is a good to have in the pack of monitoring devices that we maintain especially after covid-19.

This is easy to use 'out of the box' . It has some memory and user features that I do not need.I spend quite some time learning how to position the sleeve and how to sit properly and behave before the reading.Even so I could get irritatingly variable readings in succession (with the right gap between readings).I did some homework and apparently many read high, but I was only interested in getting a consistency of reading over time.The main issue is that I just don't trust it, and I have ended up spending time reading critiques of its performance and examining more expensive units (which may not be any better).I think one issue is that these are said to be 'clinically validated'. I don't quite know what they mean by that. I don't doubt that the engineering of this item is good and 'clinically valid', but the only way to clinically validate the readings this one takes would be to take this particular item and cross check it against a clinical set-up.

Worth having if you need to keep a eye on your blood pressure, seems to work ok
