This is fantastic and for so little money.I am using it on IOS. It uses it's own camera app rather than the iphone app and has a ton of features over and above the apple app.I haven't begun to try all the features. I have used the basic ons such as image stabilization which is brilliant. You can move the gimbal around anywhere and it keeps it steady. It will also lock on to an object and track it no matter where you move to etc. You can rotate the camera manually by the joystick to and into any position you need to.The app has so much more than just the gimbal control for tracking etc. It has full flash control, long exposures making it brilliant for night shots combined with the anti shake and stabilisation etc.Mirror mode, inception, hitchcock etc. The device is excellent but the app is really awesome too and really gives you so much more capabilities.The instructions are non existent in the box and the writing is tiny! I suggest the first thing you do is download the app from the app store if your interested in it before buying. You can see what it offers without having to connect to the gimbal.Also search for AOCHUAN Gimbal and check out the tutorials on YouTube, facebook , insta etc. This will give you a much better idea of its considerable capabilities.One tip is I connected via bluetooth to the gimbal the normal way through BT settings rather than the app and found it quicker and simpler.Other great thing is that you can swap the standard 3.7V rechargeable battery in seconds meaning you can continue using it without having to pause to recharge.Just superb.

I love this gimbal. It is really easy to use - straight out of the box.First of all the tracking is super smooth despite me trying to move the camera in different directions really fast. The stabiliser does the job really well and there is not a tiniest bit of camera shake. Stability of the gimbal is fantastic and it really is a game changer for anyone who likes to take videos and especially if you are doing plenty of content.Quality of this product is high and I honestly haven't got any bad points. Battery life is good and I have not run out of battery despite filming on and off for hours.Highly recommend it.

I got this gimbal for my nephew who has just started doing videos of his toys and loves walking around and using this.Very easy to setup my nephew had it all done in about five minutes that’s including installing the mobile app and considering this is the first gimbal he has ever used I think that is good.The image stabilisation is a lot better than I thought it was going to be and this is even without my nephew knowing about you needing to change your walk to get smoother footageThe tripod feet is good quality and it holds the weight of the gimbal and phone easily if you need it to be higher you can attach it to a tripod.The built in light on the gimbal is a very nice touch but obviously it will depend on how close you are to what you are filming on how effective it is.Overall I am happy with the gimbal.

The media could not be loaded. I like that it has a removable battery and that it is reasonably light. The small tripod is also useful if you don't have one.The instruction booklet is terrible though the writing is small and there is not enough information in it to really help you, you have to go on YouTube and find their instruction videos. These include how to calibrate the gimbal and what the various modes are supposed to do. The modes are selected by pressing the small joystick on the gimbal handle and I found that it was difficult to see which mode I was in.In use I found it to be disappointing. Its movement and seems to me to be somewhat laggy some times and you certainly can't wave it around quickly and expect it to keep locked on a target.I tried the app and the video I got was not very smooth, for example one of the FX modes called Inception in which the phone is spun on its axis. In the company's video it shows a very fluid movement as the gimble spins but I always got a very juddery motion with the focus constantly hunting. This mode can also be activated via the controls on the gimbal itself without going through the app. If I used it in that way the video was better. I did both using the small tripod and noticed that the gimbal juddered as it moved. So it doesn’t seem to be very stable. I have added a short video of this to try and show the issue.I am by no means an experienced gimbal user and so some of the issues I have had might be down to me but if that is the case this is not an easy device to use. Overall I was somewhat disappointed with the experience and the results.

I am a novice amateur photographer, this is one of my favorite mobile phone stabilizers, because to my surprise, this AOCHUAN SMART X is actually very easy to use. When I buy electronic equipment, I habitually check the manual before using it. It is worth mentioning that the manual is very concise and clear at a glance. I use this device for outdoor photo shooting. The SMART X is very compact and portable when folded. I really like the smoothness that it rotates 360 degrees with the thumb gear that controls the movement. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the battery life, but the battery can be replaced and the design of the magnetic cover is very clever. Buy an extra battery if you will be using it for a long period of time. The AOCHUAN SMART X is reasonably priced and offers a good value for the cost. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use video gimbal for beginners.

Voilà un bon stabilisateur simple d’usage qui se connecte très facilement.L’application associée me semble bien complète. Même si je ne connais pas encore toutes les possibilités. Cela laisse un champ possible très large. Petit bémol concernant l’accroche du téléphone. Je suis obligé de retirer la coque. Peut-être que la mienne est trop épaisse,vous avez la possibilité de le poser à la verticale ou à l’horizontal. Parfait pour des sessions vidéo lorsque vous êtes en mouvement.Il n’est pas trop lourd et l autonomie semble très intéressante environ 7 à 9hIl dispose également d’une lampeLe petit mode d’emploi indiquant les différents modes est tout à fait utile

this AOCHUAN SMART X is actually very easy to use.1. I like the small size. I would call this a pocket gimbal but its slightly too big to put into my pocket. That said, I initially feared that it was too small. Then, after trying it out, it fit well in my hand which was a pleasant surprise. 2. Since the gimbal folds and snaps, it is very convenient as it doesn't swing wildly around when not powered on. 3. The interface on the gimbal itself. It is easy to see which mode you are currently using which is helpful if you are changing modes mid shot or just don't want to mess with the camera app on the phone. 4. The tripod/handle extender. This little guy is very useful. 5. Using an Iphone with the app is a fairly flawless experience. As someone who used an earlier version of the Aochuan app, this one vastly improves over previous iterations. 6. Balancing the phone on the gimbal is simple and easy. No nudging of gimbal arms and turning different screws to tighten or loosen parts of the gimbal. Just slide your phone in, center it vertically and then center it horizontally all done my manipulating the phone in the clamp. Simple.
