Moves alot of air
It moves alot of air but it's extremely loud. Anyone that says it's quiet it obviously deaf. I did however get a speed controller to turn down the speed at the lowest setting it still moves enough air but is still pretty loud...but more tolerable. Of course it's in the wall between the bedroom and living room to circulate the air...if it was in the attic I guess it would sound quieter. I can't hear the TV with it on unless it's all the way up.

Much more powerful than the typical duct fans
This fan is much more impressive and powerful than the metal duct fans you can find at the big box stores. Seems like it moves twice as much air. It's not too noisy either, but there's no way to silence that much air being moved. But it's not like its squeaky or rattly or anything. I'm using to exhaust a small metal working shop I'm building in my home's basement. The room is small so this fan should be able to clear out any smoke in only a few minutes.

Good Fan
Replaced a 40 year old Nutone kitchen exhaust fan with this unit. Had to do a little custom duct work but it has really made a positive difference. Removes cooking steam and smells to the outside vent cap very nicely. The unit is pretty loud but I mounted it in the attic just above the ceiling, so noise level is about the same as the old fan.

Better than ac infinity fans, get A23 battery tho
Used for a fume exhaust system, homemade. Pulls 75w on low and about 90w on high. Remote works perfect. Only 2 speeds tho. No super low flow. Faily quiet, maybe not as quiet as ac infinity due to no super slow speed One star down for not including a AAAA battery for the remote, which the fan will not turn on without. I already had some, seems common in Chinese remotes, so buy you sum. A23/A23 batteries. I was pretty pissed, but then I found a pack from some other thing I ordered that also didn't have batteries, which I was more pissed about since that is why I dun ordered these. Been building lots of venty things for projects and used cheapos (really low air flow/watt) and ac infinity fans. This will be my go to. Esp since it doesn't need a wired remote.

Good unit, can hear it at high speed
I installed it in the ceiling with some ducts to bring in ambient air from outside in my apartment in Medellin which has good weather year round.. it obviated the need for an AC unit, and allows me to close the balcony to cut out the road noise.. I use the remote to turn it on/off and adjust the speed.

Not 4" and extremely underpowered
I bought this duct fan to extract smoke and odors from my laser cutter. It is very, very underpowered and doesn't remove any of the smoke at all. It is ducted to an outside dryer style vent, and won't even open the plastic louvers. It is also significantly smaller than the 4" duct size it claims to be. A 3" rubber duct connector fits right over the inlet and output ports. I had to use duct tape to attach the duct to the fan because it is so small, otherwise I'd return it in a heartbeat. Very poor purchase.

Good motor specks are not acute
It’s a good motor only issue I have is the motor says it’s 4 inch but in reality it’s 3 1-2 inch so when we connected ro

Powerful
These are a great option to a standard bathroom vent. Strong and quiet they provide relief from the humidity created when showering.

Very good fan. Moves a lot of air, and is reasonably quiet. The wireless remote function is fantastic! I'm using this fan to circulate air in a voiceover recording booth, and the remote is VERY convenient. It's outside of the booth at the end of a long vent tube, so it's far enough away that the sound it makes doesn't make it into the recording booth. But it moves enough air to keep things comfortable. Recommended.

3.5 starts, installed on the attic as a bathroom exhaust fan, summer time no problem at all I would give a 5 stars, but during the month of November when the whether goes to -5c it take a while to turn on the fan, so planing to put a jacket or insulation around the fan, see if it's going to work.
