That included finding screwdriver pliers and moving the chair.My chair reclines again. slightly different fitting to the one I took off but a previously stated was not difficult to work out how this one fits. but pay attention how you route the new cable in your chair so that it does not snag with all the moving parts of your chair. Dirt easy to replace for a basic level diyer, just need screwdriver to open 2 screw from knob. Quality of cable is fantastic , when I compared with original one which lasted 6 years , this one is far better quality. If you are worried about size, this cable will work in all the recliner irrespective of the make as they only come in 1 standard size and 1 standard type so no chance it to be wrong type.
