i ordered up a box of these glow sticks and they were way too weak. they barely glowed at all. i give these out for halloween and they are now all gone. the kids didn't know, but i did. i had glow sticks from last year that were 10 times brighter. since they are all gone, i can't get a refund. i guess the most i can do is leave my first bad review of an amazon product ever. seriously, don't buy these. they are a waste of money.

I’ve bought these multiple times and use them for camping. I use these to supplement my lanterns so I can find my way around the campsite after dark!

Ok, here we go. I bought a box of 100, for emergency use.Ordered the White glow sticks. They arrived timely.They are bulk packed, no wrapperThese were priced nicely, around 50 cents per unit.They do work and at snap are really bright, Lit up an 8 by 8 room with no issue.I wanted a 20 min stick and this actually performed to my liking.Worth the price for a 15 to 20 min light.If for a bugout bag and need more than 15 mins these wont do it, as you'll need to carry 2 to 3 times as many.They are not heavy but space is a premium for a bugout bag.Don't know the unused lifespan, most of these give around 4 years, but unknownHappy with the purchase for my 20 min need.reasonable price tooFirst 5 mins are nice and brightafter 10 mins they are at 50%.Consider these done at 20 Mins for most usestayed "glowey" 35-40 mins but good only for a subtitle marker.At the 1 hour mark - dead.if for a party, they are perfect...

These work very well. All you do is bend in the middle until you hear a snap and they stay lit for hours. I got these to go in our emergency backpacks and in our cars for emergencies too. There are 100 of them so of course, the kids have some to play with also. Especially since it’s summertime. This is a great buy that I highly recommend. You can even use them for table center pieces. Add marbles or water beads to a vase and put a glow stick in the center add fresh or silk flowers.

These glow a pretty nice white color in my opinion. They are decently bright, but they fade very, very quickly. I like to keep these on hand for emergencies and power outages. They aren't really ideal for that, because they don't glow long enough. After cracking them open, just half an hour later you will need to pop some more open. I'd rather get some that cost a bit more but last 5 times longer. If you only need something that glows briefly, these will work just fine.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing. After receiving the 100 count bag, I tried one out. It was a complete joke. To call them bright would be like calling the Polar Icecaps warm and fertile. Their glowing ability is practically non-existent. What little brightness they had lasted 12minutes. I will not bother with trying to return them much less seek a refund. They were purchased for emergency use. These fall far short of the mark.
