I bought the blood glucose monitoring kit due to my diabetes soaring out of control. This piece of equipment has helped me to get "back on track" by me being able to check my glucose count daily. As a result things have improved enormously. Good product, good seller.

I found the instructions very hard to follow, and gave up. I t might well be a very good machine but if you can not get it set up it ends up not being used! I will have to ask my son in law to help. How long will the battery last and will it have to be reset again?

I have some serious concerns about ths accuracy of the readings this unit provides. Previously I had used an Accu-Chek Activa which gave readings that supported my HbA1c Level. I purchwsed this primarily because of the cost of the strips. As soon as I used it my BG levels were shoen to be consistantly on average 10% higher than the Accu-Check. Both meters calibrated and new strips boxes.I conducted my own comaprison test over a 14 day period the results from the Codefree were always on average 10% higher than those given by the Accu-Chek. This was done simulaneaoulsy using the same drip of blood for each meter.I consider this quite serious as false or inaccurate reading can lead to incorrect dosing of medication.The Unit is only adequate for gauging BG levels up or down and that is all.

Excellent device for measuring blood glucose. Having recently been diagnosed with diabetes type 2, this is a great and handy device to ensure that I monitor and control my condition. Would recommend.
