ANODISED Aluminium Anti Non Slip Stair Edge Nosing Trim 900mm x 46mm x 30mm A38, Silver

I was expecting something more like the stuff sold in DIY stores (relatively flimsy). Not the case. This was just what I needed to manage the edge on a drop in floor height between two rooms (approx 2 inch total drop). Very sturdy and thick aluminium (you will need a good hacksaw & metal cutting blade to cut it cleanly). I would pre-drill the screw holes if they are going into a wooden floor, as the screw heads are small and it would be easy to round them off if you apply too much pressure. Really pleased with this purchase.

Very well made quality Anodised Aluminium Anti non slip stair/step nosing trim.Simple and easy to fit using screws or suitable type Adhesive. I used strong adhesive padsto fasten in place on the edge of a tiled door step after firstly trimming to the right widthwith a hacksaw.Looks neat and tidy not had any problems, very pleased all round.

The top step of my carpeted stairs was showing signs of wear, but this trim really solved the problem to my complete satisfaction.

I used one of these to cover the corner of the tiled step leading outside of my back door. The edge of the tiles had become chipped (my fault - dragging heavy items in and out the door!) and this protector was the perfect solution for covering the chipped edge and providing a grippy non-slip surface. It wasn't really possible to drill and screw the protector in place so I just used Evo-Stick which worked really well. It was well worth the cost and I wondered if I should give a flight of stone steps at the front the same treatment for those icy Winter months, but when you tot up the cost of doing multiple steps the price soon becomes prohibitive. So yes, a good solution for where you really need it - not a cheap hobby for lots of steps. Also, if your steps are narrow you will be cutting them down and chucking the excess away. They should cost less than this as it's only a simple aluminium extrusion and rubber insert. Maybe it can be had in 2 meter lengths at lower price, I haven't looked yet.

Thick section aluminium, so it's tough. I cut it to size with an angle grinder, because using a hacksaw was taking too long. The supplies steel screws were excellent, much better than the usual flimsy screws provided by other makes. The screw heads were Pozi 1, and recessed perfectly in the screw holes. The rubber strip was easy to remove and re-insert.

Easy installation, just cut to the size you need and screw in place . We done only for the top step but can be used for all. The rubber insert gives that extra grip so definitely safer stairs

Our cat had scratched and ruined our stair carpets on each bottom step.I bought one of these for each step,covered the holes and now look like we have a new carpet and very smart too,an added bonus is they support my wife when going upstairs.Very easy to fit,very smart and sturdy.This years Best Buy!
