LOVE this weighted lap blanket!!! I bought it to use as a lap blanket in hopes to create a thick enough barrier between my lap and my cat’s claws. And this blanket understood the assignment!!! And the cat loves it because it conforms to my lap and isn’t bulky like a regular throw.

Like the weight. It’s definitely only large enough for chest and upper lap. Would like one larger but not as large as a blanket.

This weighted pad is so comfortable and the pressure helps me with occasional anxiety! It’s cute, and I would recommend this over an entire weighted blanket since I sometimes feel suffocated with a whole blanket. I’m 5’2, and sleeping with a twin size weighted blanket was a bit uncomfortable because I felt trapped under it. If anything, I’ll use my regular blanket and put this on top for added pressure. I like this pad so much that I got another one in the cream color to keep on my couch. My friends who came over asked for the link because they liked it too!

Pro:-beautiful lilac color-perfect size for just my torso (don't like my legs covered when I sleep)-very soft still after several machine wash/dry cycles. I have very sensitive skin, so this is importantCon: It's so hot. I usually feel cold when I sleep, so I didn't think much about this velvety material. Apparently the glass beads on the inside retain heat like microwave rice pillows used for sore muscles. Even if I've pushed away this weighted blanket in the middle of the night, it still feels warm like I have a cat or dog in bed with me.Despite the heating factors, I'll still keep this for the color, perfect size, soft material, and it helps me stay on my back while sleeping.
