I like this to cover and preserve the mattress. This is at lease the second one I have purchased as they get dirty and don't launder well because of the plastic. We haven't spilled anything but it looks like it would be waterproof. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable.

I have two queen mattresses and both fit perfectly. One is an oversized queen, with pillow top, and the other a box foam bed and both fit perfect. Easy to put on or remove. I think I bought four so I can quickly replace if needed. Not uncomfortable at all. I trust, from the other reviews without testing, that it would prevent stains from spills. Thank you reviewers!

My family has been using this to help keep a mattress clean despite bed wetting. I read some really good reviews for this product, I remember specifically a gentleman saying he purchased 2, thinking that 1 wouldn’t be enough. He said after his dog peed on the bed, the bottom cover was completely dry. Maybe humans release more urine than dogs?? Lol anyway this products helps keep the mattress clean to an extent, the gross stains don’t make it to the mattress but the mattress is still a little damp after removing the sheets. Maybe 2 covers is best?? Anyway other than that I have no complaints about this product, it’s comfortable and not noisy.

EDIT: Finally got a chance to see if it really is waterproof and it is. I also wanted to update this review when I had a chance to wash it as well, since some reviews said that it was ruined after washing it. Washing it didn't ruin it or damage it in any way. The only problem I had was it said to tumble dry it on low/air dry. I did that and it was in the dryer for almost a hour without drying it (in a brand new dryer). So I put it on high heat for 20 minutes and prayed that wouldn't ruin it. It still didn't dry all the way, so I put it on for another 20 minutes with high heat and it was perfect. I read all the reviews and I was back and forth on this for a few days before I finally decided to take the plunge and order it. Most people say it is truly waterproof, but I haven't tested out that yet. Our son comes and gets in bed with us a lot, and sometimes he leaks terribly through his diaper in the night and we just bought a brand new, king size bed and I didn't want it ruined. Still haven't been able to test that out to see if it will keep even minor moisture away from the mattress, because low and behold, the minute we put it on the bed, our son hasn't made any nighttime appearances. lol But what worried me most was the fact that a few people said in their reviews that after putting it on their bed, that it made them extremely hot and sweaty at night. I get extremely hot at night all on my own, and I sure didn't want to add something else to the bed that would cause me to be even more hot. But I took into consideration that the majority of people said it didn't do that, so I went with that. Once we put it on the bed, I was happy to find that it fit very well, and didn't change the feel of the bed at all. It doesn't make any noise when you move around, and I was very glad to find out that it didn't make me hotter at night. Another plus to it....after we put it on the bed, our fitted sheet stopped popping off the mattress as well, so it's an added bonus that it's keeping the sheets in place. So overall, I love this product! Will update if anything changes.

I can honestly say this mattress protector has saved my brand new mattress!This morning I woke up to find that a disgruntled cat decided to leave a wet surprise on the other side of the bed right on the sheets. Needless to say it was big and it was a mess. Soaked right through my thin sheets and onto the mattress protector and went no further! I felt the bottom of side of the protector after I stripped it off the bed and it's completely dry. The mattress remains untouched. Thank you so much Lucid, you just saved me from a disaster! I just ordered 2 more.Another plus for this item is that it fits on my 13" Cal-King mattress absolutely perfectly. It doesn't shift around, and because it has a fitted sheet style it's easy to take off, wash and replace. I would really not want to have lift my mattress up off the box springs to unzip and undress it the way some other full cover protectors work.The price is very reasonable as well. At the time of my orders it's $27 for the Cal-King size.The texture of the material is nice as well. It feels like a thin terry cloth. The waterproof material is underneath the terry cloth finish. It not not rustle or feel stiff and noisy at all. If you don't need 360 degree bed bug protection then I would definitely get this over the others available here on Amazon. I would even say get the 360 protection and then put this over it so if there's a spill you don't need to call someone to help you lift the mattress to change out the protector.

Nice and soft. Fits snugly. The 4 stars because I do find it kind of hot in spite of others' opinions. It's impossible not to feel the vinyl/plastic or whatever the plastic material is under the terry cloth. But then, all protectors do have a plastic like lining anyways. It is good value for the money considering how expensive these covers are.***Update***I have warmed up to this cover a lot. Have gotten so used to it I no longer notice the difference of it being kind of "hot". It's gotten very soft with each wash and usage (although it was soft to begin with, but so much better now). It has prevented some major spills into my mattress, so I totally recommend it! This is actually the first time I bother with an update on a review.***Update***While I was perfectly happy with this cover, the reality is that I don't know how the 15 year warranty applies to it. Three years laters, my mattress got ruined. The cover didn't do the job. It seeped all the way through. Plus, after a few washes, the top fabric which is kind of flimsy had bald spots. I didn't care as long as it did the job, but it didn't. For the price I would still buy it, but realisticly speaking, it won't last you more than 3 years!

Me encantaron los cubre almohadas y cubre colchón! En el interior son “plastificados” que hacen el efecto impermeable y por fuera son muy muy suaves. Tienen un cierre que mantiene la almohada en su lugar. El cubrecolchon es la medida perfecta! Aun si el colchón es muy muy alto. No son calurosos ni hacen ruido. Es una excelente compra 👌🏻 Lo recomiendo ampliamente!
