Solid Performance from a Budget HVLP Sprayer
I recently purchased this HVLP paint sprayer for $11 on sale, and I've been pleasantly surprised by its performance. Here's my honest assessment:Pros:- Better spray quality than expected for the price- Easy to clean and maintain- Great value for moneyCons:- Nozzle removal can be tricky (see below)The sprayer produces good results, especially considering its low cost. It's user-friendly and cleaning is straightforward, which is a big plus for DIY projects. One issue to be aware of: some users, including myself, have encountered difficulty removing the nozzle. This seems to be due to thread locker applied during manufacturing or residue from testing. I managed to get it off without too much trouble, but it's something to keep in mind. For $11, this sprayer offers more than I expected. It's a solid choice for small projects or beginners on a tight budget. It strikes a good balance between affordability and functionality. If you're looking for an inexpensive introduction to HVLP sprayers or need a budget option for occasional use, this one is worth considering. Just keep your expectations realistic given the price point.

Do not buy!!!
I ordered one and when I used it, it leaked bad out of the nozzle. So I returned it and they did an exchange. When I tried to use the replacement the cup leaked worse than the nozzle on the first one!!! Very poor quality!!!

Better Quality than brand name
The is a copy of a Paasche HG-08 mini detail gun. I initially bought the Paasche for 4 times the price - supposedly that was American made. The Paaache had issues -the finish flaking off in the gun getting in my paint. Needle seems bent a hair. This gun is almost identicle - except it’s made a bit better & has a plastic cup.It comes with a plastic filter. Throw it in the garbage. The hole in the cup wasn’t cut big enough to fit it - it needs to be drilled out a hair. If you use that filter believe me you will have paint starvation issues. Either use clean paint or filter it.For the price the quality is good Imprecise manufacturing. The packing is very tight on this gun - hard to get the needle out. You need to pull it out with pliers wrapped in tape. The trigger is very firm & sharp dentent between air & paint. The Paasche was sloppy.

Nice little HVLP gun for a great price!!
I spray RC lexan bodies and need to spray a water based mask onto the body, let it dry and then cut and remove the mask as I spray. I had to get the viscosity of the mask where I wanted it, ran it at about 40 psi spraying some thick stuff. It went on perfect - this did exactly what I wanted.Cleanup for me was easy - I was spraying water based material so a soak and brush spray and good to go for next time.

Great little bit of kit!
This gun has to be the deal of the century. I'm a mechanic who sometimes will do some auto body work mostly restoration of used cars for resale. I needed a small touchup gun for mobile work outside the shop. Was not expecting a whole lot for the price, I figured Harbor Freight quality. Boy was I surprized, this gun has excellent break-up and pattern as good as my high end touch-up guns, the controls work well and adjustments are easy and stay set. I bought the 1.0 tip model but I plan to order another with the .08 tip for flexability. Am pleased with this purchase!

GOT A BAD ONE
I've had several of this model with various names on them, and consider them disposable. I've used them with nitrocellulose lacquer, waterborne lacquer, acrylic enamel (automotive), shellac, alkyd enamel (automotive), and never had any problem beyond an occasional spray pattern issue. But this one is the first one that I consider a waste of money. Virtually every threaded part was crossthreaded. The internal filter does not fit. .even if you try to install it backward like they show in the "instructions" parts diagram. It's hilarious, actually.Given that it was so cheap, I just used the internal parts to fix up an older one that I kept for parts. So I ended up with one usable gun.Try your luck, I guess. I've had more good ones than bad ones, but every one should be disassembled, cleaned and checked before you ever put paint in it. Especially the cup filter.
